Studio ACE Team, creators of “Clash: Artifacts of Chaos” and “Zeno Clash”, have revealed “The Mound: Whisper of Cthulhu“, a terrifying first-person horror game that allows cooperation among up to four players online.
This tale, titled after the Lovecraftian entity Cthulhu, undeniably draws inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft’s novella, “The Mound.” You will find yourself leading a team of explorers on an expedition to unearth a fabled subterranean metropolis, teeming with invaluable riches.
The game immerses you in a chilling, ominous jungle teeming with terrifying alien creatures that could disorient your perception and potentially drive you mad. Of course, they also pose the risk of ending your life. Collaboration among players will be crucial, but try to resist hallucinating and attacking fellow team members instead.
This year, “The Mound: A Sign of Cthulhu” is set to arrive on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and personal computers.
