The Mongolz vs Eternal Fire Preview

As a gamer, I’ve got to say, our journey to the playoffs has been nothing short of grueling. Kicking things off, we nailed a 2-0 win against Team Liquid, setting the tone for the tournament. Our strong start propelled us forward, riding the wave of momentum through the following match as well. However, we faced our toughest opponent yet in NAVI, and unfortunately, we lost 0-2. But, let me tell you, our performance in the group stage was more than enough to earn us a spot in the IEM Katowice Playoffs.

910 Banzragch of The Mongolz was instrumental in their win against Team Liquid, standing as the lone player with a positive KDA on his team. This statistic made 910 one of the key factors behind The Mongolz’ triumph. Yet, it’s important to note that The Mongolz boast a harmonious team dynamic, which may not always be evident in the scorecard. By enabling each player to excel in their individual roles, The Mongolz have honed their playstyle over numerous months through strategic planning and competitive regional matches.

In our upcoming clash with GemerLegion, I, a 23-year-old gamer, was leading the pack as bLitz. Across the entire series, I managed an impressive 38 kills under my belt. The second round saw me kickstart the series with an Ace, and since then, there was no looking back. We’ve made it to the playoffs with MongolZ, but now the real test begins. Our first opponent in this tougher bracket is Eternal Fire, and we’re ready to give them our best shot!

In their initial match of the competition, Eternal Fire triumphed over a team that has undergone several transformations lately, known as the Falcons. Despite fielding some well-known players, the Falcons failed to secure a single win during IEM Katowice 2025. With four fresh recruits on board, it’s clear that Zonic is still working to make his mark. An impressive ’61-frag’ display by WOXIC couldn’t help Eternal Fire advance past Virtus.Pro. The game on Train went into overtime, but at the final moment, Virtus.Pro edged ahead and claimed victory.

As a devoted fan, even though we faced a tough loss against Virtus.Pro, Eternal Fire showcased its impressive form in the lower bracket, clinching a win over 3DMAX. Our next challenge: taking on FaZe Clan. The match on Anubis was a clear victory for us, but Nuke proved to be quite the rollercoaster, with neither team relinquishing control. The game stretched out to an epic 47 rounds before we finally emerged victorious. With an outstanding ADR of 99.4, XANTARES played a pivotal role in securing Eternal Fire’s spot in the playoffs at IEM Katowice.
