I was absolutely shocked during Saturday’s episode of The Masked Singer! We finally found out who was behind the Sloth costume, and honestly, I did not see it coming. It was a huge surprise for all of us fans!
Fans of the popular ITV guessing game saw a contestant eliminated from the competition.
After the performer sang Paul McCartney’s “We All Stand Together” (released in 1984), judges Davina McCall, Maya Jama, Jonathan Ross, Katherine Ryan, and Mo Gilligan all made their final guesses.
It was finally time for host Joel Dommett to ask Sloth to reveal themselves.
As he lifted his head off, it was revealed Ben Fogle was the star behind the mask.
Honestly, you wouldn’t believe the reaction! Everyone – the audience and the judges – completely lost it when they found out the presenter from Animal Park had been the singer all along. It was a total shock, and the energy in the room was incredible!
Ben, age 52, didn’t quite make it to the show’s finale, which will be broadcast next Saturday evening.
After the reveal, fans rushed to social media, with one commenting, ‘I really thought the sloth was David Baddiel – I never would have guessed Ben Fogle!’
‘I think Ben Fogle should stick to his nature shows’; ‘Well, I would never have guessed Ben Fogle’;
‘It’s about time Sloth went to be fair’.
Red Panda was recently unmasked as a well-known comedian on a TV show, despite just missing the chance to compete in the semi-finals.
Following the latest votes, Red Panda was unfortunately removed from the competition by the judges, and their true identity was revealed to the audience.
The adorable, furry performer sang ‘I Got A Feeling’ by The Black Eyed Peas, but unfortunately wasn’t selected to move forward to the semi-finals.
And when he was unmasked, it was revealed that Red Panda was the famous comic Harry Hill.
Viewers were surprised by the reveal, which finally confirmed who the actor was playing after years of speculation.
The character was dramatically pulled from the launch episode just hours before transmission.
The performance was cancelled after a tragic fire at the Le Constellation bar in Switzerland on New Year’s Eve. The fire, which started unexpectedly, resulted in the deaths of approximately 40 people.
Last month, Red Panda finally performed for audiences on stage with a rendition of ‘Bat Out Of Hell’.
The judges initially thought Alan Carr could be behind the mask after the first performance, but most viewers believed it was Harry.
