The Madison: Taylor Sheridan’s New Western Series with Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell

Get a first glimpse of Taylor Sheridan’s new Western series, , starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell. The show promises another thrilling story from the creator of Yellowstone.

The new series, The Madison, follows the Clyburn family as they navigate loss and reconnect with each other in the beautiful setting of Montana’s Madison River valley. A recent preview shows Amanda Pfeiffer delivering a poignant line – “My center, my soul…is gone” – hinting at the emotional depth of the show. The Madison will premiere on Paramount on March 14th.

Taylor Sheridan, the creator of popular shows like Yellowstone, 1883, and Landman, is also the executive producer of The Madison. He’s working on this new series with David C. Glasser, John Linson, Brooke Pfeiffer, and Megan Russell. Christina Voros will serve as both an executive producer and the director.

Though Taylor Sheridan is planning to depart from Paramount, he’s leaving behind a significant television legacy. He still has two Yellowstone spin-offs in the works: Marshals, set to premiere later this year, and a series focusing on Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler from the original Yellowstone. It’s important to note that The Madison is not connected to the Yellowstone universe as previously reported.

The new series stars Pfeiffer and Russell and centers on the Clyburn and McIntosh families – one from New York City and one from Montana – and the devastating consequences when their lives intersect. Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, and Will Arnett also star in the show.

Details about John Boyega’s character, Preston Clyburn, have been mostly secret, but he’s confirmed as a main cast member. It’s unclear how much he’ll appear, with some reports suggesting he might only be featured in flashback scenes. Michelle Pfeiffer will play Stacy Clyburn, the mother of Page McIntosh and Abigail Reese.

The Madison will premiere on Paramount+ on March 14.
