In the upcoming film titled “Italianna”, actress Halle Bailey, who portrays The Little Mermaid, will be joined by Regé-Jean Page from Bridgerton.
At the moment, we’re not privy to much information about the project because they haven’t yet revealed any specifics regarding the storyline or new actors involved.
In a new venture, the upcoming movie will be helmed by Kat Coiro, who previously worked on the romantic comedy “Marry Me” starring Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson. Furthermore, Coiro has directed six episodes of the Marvel series “She-Hulk” and served as an executive producer for the same show.
As a devoted fan, I’d like to share that the captivating script of “Italianna” is a product of Ryan Engle’s brilliant mind. He nurtured this incredible concept in collaboration with his partner, Kristin Engle, from an original idea they both developed together.
After achieving success in the initial season of “Bridgerton,” where he portrayed Simon Basset, the Duke of Hastings, Page decided against reprising his role for subsequent episodes.
His most recent acting roles are in the 2023 fantasy film, “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves” and the latest Steven Soderbergh thriller, “Black Bag,” alongside Michael Fassbender and Cate Blanchett.
Recently unveiled, the thriller titled “Black Bag” introduces us to Kathryn and George Woodhouse, an espionage-savvy couple portrayed by Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender, respectively.
George faces a difficult dilemma as he must decide whether to prioritize his loyalty to the country or his relationship with Kathryn, who stands accused of treason.
The star-studded movie will also feature actress Marisa Abela from the hit album “Back to Black”, along with Tom Burke from “The Lazarus Project”. Additionally, Pierce Brosnan and Naomie Harris, both known for their roles in the James Bond series, are part of the cast.
The film titled “Black Bag” represents a newer joint project from director Steven Soderbergh and screenwriter David Koepp, who also worked on the movie “Jurassic Park“.
Previously, the filmmaker and scriptwriter collaborated on the ghost-themed horror movie “Presence” and the 2022 suspenseful flick called “Kimi”.
