Although characters from the Prime Video series Bosch won’t be appearing in season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer due to Amazon’s ownership of that show’s story and characters, a new, tough LAPD homicide detective will be joining the Netflix legal drama this season.
It’s a shame Harry Bosch, one of television’s greatest detectives, isn’t involved in seasons of The Lincoln Lawyer – he would have been a great addition. However, the introduction of Kent Drucker from the LAPD in season 4 should help fill that void, as Drucker has a similar personality to Bosch.
Season four of The Lincoln Lawyer will feature a new challenge for Mickey Haller: lawyer Dana Berg, who will be prosecuting him in a murder case. However, Berg will heavily depend on the relentless Detective Drucker and the evidence he gathers to build her case against Mickey.
The Lincoln Lawyer Season 4 Will Star Jason Butler Harner As LAPD Detective Kent Drucker

Jason Butler Harner, known for his role in Ozark, will join The Lincoln Lawyer as Detective Kent Drucker. He’s expected to be a compelling new character, leading the investigation into Sam Scales’ murder during the show’s fourth season.
Despite being credited as a guest star, Harner’s character will be heavily involved in the legal details of Mickey Haller’s case, particularly regarding the evidence presented. Additionally, just like the prosecutor, Dana Berg, Drucker is fully committed to finding the person responsible for Scales’s death.
Man, things are really tough for Mickey Haller right now. They found Scales’ body in the trunk of his car at the end of last season, so he’s the prime suspect. It doesn’t look good for him at all, and this detective, Drucker, is all over him, making it incredibly difficult to try and clear his name.
Without Harry Bosch, Drucker Is The Only Police Detective To Appear In Season 4

I’m really excited for season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer! I heard from Dailyn Rodriguez, the showrunner, that they’re handling the Harry Bosch situation in a clever way. Since the season is based on The Law of Innocence, they’re giving some of Bosch’s private investigation work to Cisco, which makes sense. But it sounds like Kent Drucker will also be helping out with those cases, so we’ll definitely be seeing more of him too!
Detective Harry Bosch and Peter Drucker are both straightforward, dedicated police investigators working homicide cases in Los Angeles. Given the interconnected world of Michael Connelly’s books, it’s easy to imagine they’ve crossed paths and even teamed up on investigations.
Both Bosch and Drucker appear tough on the outside, but they’re also driven by a relentless need to catch criminals. In the new season of The Lincoln Lawyer, Mickey Haller will discover just how much Drucker resembles his half-brother when they face off against each other.
Detective Drucker Investigates Mickey’s Potential Role In Sam Scales’ Murder

Detective Drucker is often compared to Harry Bosch, but he doesn’t have the same instinct for solving cases. Throughout season 4 of The Lincoln Lawyer, he focuses heavily on the evidence pointing to Mickey Haller, even when other suspects in Sam Scales’s murder deserve consideration.
Thankfully, Drucker’s dedication means fans will definitely see Harry Bosch involved in the new season. The conflict between him and Mickey Haller promises to be some of the most intense and captivating moments of The Lincoln Lawyer yet.
