The Legend of Zelda Live-Action Movie Reportedly Eyes Popular Pick to Play Princess Zelda
The development of a real-life version of “The Legend of Zelda” is ongoing, but at this point, no actors have been officially confirmed for the cast. There’s a lot of speculation though, and a recent report hints that a well-liked candidate might be in contention for the part of Princess Zelda.
Based on reports from industry sources, there’s a strong possibility that Hunter Schafer could land the role of Zelda in the live-action Legend of Zelda film. Many fans are already advocating for her to get the part, largely due to her striking similarity to the beloved video game character. What really excites fans about this potential casting is Schafer’s acting talent, which has earned her acclaim for portraying transgender high school student Jules Vaughn in the popular HBO series Euphoria. She will reprise her role for the show’s upcoming third and final season. Additionally, Schafer has acted in The Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes, and the horror film Cuckoo.
