HBO has announced the actors who will play two important characters in season 3 of The Last of Us.
The popular video game series is continuing with an adaptation of the second half of The Last of Us Part II, focusing on the character of Abby, played by Kaitlyn Dever. Abby will be the main antagonist in season two. She’s part of the Washington Liberation Front, a rebel group fighting a violent civil war against a religious cult called the Seraphites, after taking control of Seattle.
Deadline reports that two important characters from the Seraphite group have been cast. Michelle Mao will play Yara and Kyriana Kratter will play Lev, siblings who share a significant connection with Abby’s storyline. Their paths intersect with Abby’s right as Ellie starts her quest for revenge in Seattle.
