The Last of Us season 2 episode 4 spoilers follow.
Fans of “The Last of Us” series were taken aback by the unexpected guest appearance of actor Josh Peck, who is known for his role in “Drake & Josh,” in the fourth episode of the second season.
In the opening of the episode, ‘Day One’, there’s a flashback sequence showing Peck transform into a FEDRA soldier called Janowicz. From the bed of a truck, he shares a crude and inappropriate tale to his fellow soldiers.
2018 is where our story unfolds, within the Seattle isolation zone. Here, we establish the history of the city that Ellie and Dina now find themselves in during the current timeline.
In an account peppered with strong language, Janowicz shares with his comrades the incident involving three individuals he prevented from disseminating leaflets. He describes the series of events that unfolded when he requested reinforcements, and the arrival of a man called Greenberg.
As a gamer, I was able to expose their actions right here. One of them retorted, “Really? You lot were vandalizing my neighborhood with graffiti?
Janowicz stated, “It seems as if Greenberg bangs his head repeatedly against a wall, causing injury, with blood splattering everywhere. Greenberg then responds, ‘Someone didn’t ask your opinion, smart aleck.’
On Instagram, Peck posted a collection of pictures taken during filming, accompanied by the following caption: “Wow, maintaining this secret was no easy task! I felt incredibly privileged to contribute a minor role to one of my all-time favorite TV shows, working alongside one of my most admired actors.

One viewer expressed their emotions as “loud sobbing, vomiting,” while another wrote: “I had planned to wait until just before the penultimate episode to watch the series, but this sudden reveal has heightened my anticipation!
One fan of Peck’s explained their response upon seeing him as, “I didn’t react in a way that you comprehended.” (or “My reaction wasn’t something you could understand”)
After completing the episode, one viewer exclaimed aloud, “JOSH PECK!”, expressing their excitement, while another expressed surprise by stating, “What a twist!
In the UK, you can catch season 2 of “The Last of Us” on Sky Atlantic every Monday at both 2am and 9pm, or stream it on NOW. For our friends across the pond in the US, the show is aired on HBO.
