The Kid Laroi has credited his longtime friend and ‘mentor’ Justin Bieber for helping him manage the plights of fame, amid accusations regarding Justin’s own former mentor Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
At a key presentation at SXSW Sydney over the weekend, the 21-year-old Australian discussed his relationship with the creator of Peaches’ hit song, who is 30 and was last involved in the popular tune ‘Stay’ three years ago.
In more straightforward terms, Lil Yachty, also known as Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, stated that there’s another individual he’d like to draw attention to today. Many people might not realize just how great a leader and mentor this person is, but in the last couple of years, since moving and living in Los Angeles, Justin Bieber has shown these qualities, according to Lil Yachty.

54-year-old Sean Combs (also known as Diddy) faces charges for sex trafficking and associated offenses, and if convicted, he could serve approximately a decade in prison. So far, over 120 potential victims have come forward.
In light of recent accusations, people are once again examining the rapper’s connection with Justin. However, Diddy maintains these allegations are untrue.
As the proud papa of Jack Blues, Justin, at 27 years old alongside his spouse Hailey, reportedly finds himself repulsed by the accusations leveled against Diddy, choosing to distance himself from the artist altogether.
A few weeks ago, an old interview video featuring Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Justin Bieber became popular online, after the musician was arrested.
During their joint appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a then 16-year-old Justin was cautioned by a smiling Diddy to avoid discussing matters related to his older brother Puffduring their interaction.
During their interview, they reminisced about their friendship back then, however, a particular remark caught the attention of their followers.
When Jimmy enquired about their friendship origin, Diddy explained, “I believe our friendship developed in an unusual manner. It’s somewhat similar to Rob & Big – that’s a nod to skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and his bodyguard, Christopher ‘Big Black’ Boykin.
He remarked: “To many of us, he feels more like a younger sibling. He doesn’t hesitate to reach out for guidance. In terms of the music industry, it’s a tight-knit community where he fits right in.
‘He’s somebody that we definitely have our arms around and we wanna protect him because he’s genuinely such a nice person besides his talents. He’s one of the greatest kids you could ever know.’
Jimmy subsequently posed a question to Justin: “Did you know that Diddy purchased a Bentley for his son? Maybe he could get you one too?
Justin responded: ‘He got me a Lamborghini. I haven’t gotten it yet, though,’
Jimmy said: ‘When is that coming? That Lamborghini. We talked about this last time.’
In his comments that now seem outdated, Diddy clarified that one could temporarily enjoy a Lamborghini and even have access to the house.
He understands that it wouldn’t be appropriate to discuss his activities with big brother Puff on live, public television. Not everything is meant for everyone to know.
Last month, Diddy was detained at a hotel in New York City and indicted for involvement in racketeering conspiracies, as well as alleged instances of sex trafficking through the use of force, deception, or manipulation, and facilitating prostitution.
The star will continue to stay in a prison in Brooklyn until his court date for the sex trafficking charges, as a second judge declined the $50 million bail proposal put forth by his legal team.
US district judge Andrew L Carter Jr dismissed Combs’ request to be released to home detention with GPS monitoring, with the judge pointing out that the hip-hop mogul could potentially tamper with witnesses.
Combs pleaded not guilty to allegations of sex trafficking on September 19.
