The Irrational is the latest series preempted due to politics (get the details)

As a long-time gamer and avid television enthusiast, I can’t help but feel a tad frustrated by the turn of events regarding “The Irrational” Season 2 premiere. After eagerly anticipating its return since the nail-biting cliffhanger of Season 1, I find myself once again waiting on the sidelines – this time not for a boss battle or a quest objective, but for an answer to who took Rose and what will become of our hero, Alec.

Originally, we were all set to resume our fall routine without any hindrances. However, unexpectedly, the Presidential and Vice Presidental debates disrupted this plan. Now, “The Irrational” has been forced to postpone its debut.

The second season of the series titled “The Irrational” was scheduled to debut on October 1st (Tuesday). This marked one of NBC’s upcoming shows, and we were eagerly waiting for its premiere. To be honest, the cliffhanger at the end of Season 1 left us with several unanswered questions: who had kidnapped Rose and what was their motive?

For now, we’ll need to be patient as we await some responses and watch how Alec handles things. It won’t be much longer, but it’s still slightly frustrating to have to wait.

The Irrational Season 2 will now premiere the following week

Just as Fox delayed the release of Season 2 for their show “Accused,” the Season 2 premiere of “The Irrational” has been moved to Tuesday, October 8th, as reported by TVLine.

On October 1st, the Vice Presidential Debate takes place and is broadcast on Fox. NBC, however, prefers not to clash with this event. Given that many individuals are in the process of deciding whom to cast their vote for in the forthcoming election, it’s likely that a significant number will opt to watch the debate as it may influence their decision. After all, there are still some undecided voters at present.

If NBC were to consider taking such a risk, their executives probably understand that it’s not an advisable move. To begin with, political debates offer an opportunity for people to hear from all sides, which is significant. Secondly, if NBC were to engage in this behavior with Fox, Fox might retaliate against NBC at a later time. It’s counterproductive to engage in reciprocal actions when it comes to politics.

Apart from NBC and Fox, ABC is also skipping the debut of Dancing with the Stars. The three primary networks, which usually host debates, are collaborating in some way. CBS doesn’t have premieres or fresh episodes of popular shows on that date, so they don’t need to postpone anything.
