The Inbetweeners star Simon Bird has landed a role in Star Wars.
The performer, whose career took off with a role in the E4 sitcom and now includes appearances in “Friday Night Dinner” and “Everyone Else Burns,” has been officially announced as part of the cast for “Star Wars: Starfighter.
He is now part of the ensemble that includes Ryan Gosling, Mia Goth, Matt Smith, as well as newly added cast members like Aaron Pierre from “Mufasa: The Lion King”, Amy Adams known for “Arrival”, Daniel Ings from “The Gentleman”, newcomer Flynn Gray, and Jamael Westman famed for “Hamilton”.

The particulars and intricate characteristics of the characters are still undisclosed, however, it’s been described as a fresh, unprecedented Star Wars tale occurring in an era that has not been depicted on screen thus far. Star Wars: Starfighter is set for 28 May, 2027.
