The Inbetweeners star lands role in major sci-fi franchise

The Inbetweeners star Simon Bird has landed a role in Star Wars.

The performer, whose career took off with a role in the E4 sitcom and now includes appearances in “Friday Night Dinner” and “Everyone Else Burns,” has been officially announced as part of the cast for “Star Wars: Starfighter.

He is now part of the ensemble that includes Ryan Gosling, Mia Goth, Matt Smith, as well as newly added cast members like Aaron Pierre from “Mufasa: The Lion King”, Amy Adams known for “Arrival”, Daniel Ings from “The Gentleman”, newcomer Flynn Gray, and Jamael Westman famed for “Hamilton”.
