The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping Cast Adds 4, Including Iris Apatow
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping has added four new cast members.
The upcoming movie, titled “Sunrise at the Harvest,” is a prequel to the Hunger Games series and is based on Suzanne Collins’ novel with the same name. Set for release in 2026, it will be directed by Francis Lawrence, with a screenplay penned by Billy Ray.
The making of The Hunger Games: Sunrise at the Reaping has officially commenced! The lineup for this movie’s cast, which was previously revealed, features Glenn Close, Kieran Culkin, Elle Fanning, Ralph Fiennes, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Maya Hawke, Jesse Plemons, Billy Porter, and Lili Taylor. Additionally, we have up-and-coming actors like Joseph Zada, Whitney Peak, McKenna Grace, Ben Wang, and others joining the ensemble.
Who has joined the cast of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping?
According to recent announcements, Iris Apatow is set to portray Proserpina in the upcoming production of Sunrise on the Reaping. Meanwhile, Jax Guerrero has been chosen for the role of Tibby, Edvin Ryding will play Vitus, and Sandra Förster will take on Hersilia.
Iris Apatow, the child of Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann, has made appearances in films like Knocked Up (2007), Funny People (2009), This Is 40 (2012), Sausage Party (2016), The Bubble (2022), and Young Werther (2024). Additionally, she portrayed the character Georgia in Netflix’s Unstable.
Recently, Riding portrayed Erik in Danny Boyle’s film “28 Years Later,” a role he also took on as Prince Wilhelm in the series “Young Royals.” On the rise are the budding talents Förster and Guerrero.
The ensemble also features Laura Marcus portraying Silka, Percy Daggs IV in the role of Ampert, Rada Rae as Wellie, Jhaleil Swaby as Panache, John Doeble as Buck, Alina Reid as Kerna, Salimou Thiam as Clayton, Kaine Buffonge as Hull, Sky Frances as Maritte, Tatyana Muzondo as Ringina, Kara Tointon as Willamae, Smylie Bradwell as Sid, Melody Chikakane Brown as Hattie Meeny, Grace Ackary as Asterid, Scot Greenan as Burdock, Jeffrey Hallman as Clerk Carmine, Serafin Mishiev as Woodbine Chance, and Jefferson White in the part of Mr. McCoy.
In the United States, the movie “The Hunger Games: Sunrise at the Reaping” by Lionsgate is scheduled for release in theaters on November 20, 2026.
