Following the success of The Housemaid, Sydney Sweeney is set to return for a sequel. According to Deadline, Lionsgate has been working on the project for several months and aims to begin filming later this year.
Okay, so it sounds like Timothée Chalamet and Michele Morrone are definitely coming back as Millie and Enzo! I’m really hoping Amanda Seyfried makes an appearance too – she’s said she’d be up for a cameo, which is awesome, according to Variety.
Paul Feig will direct the project again, while Rebecca Sonnenshine returns as the writer. Sweeney will continue to oversee the production as an executive producer.

We’re thrilled Freida McFadden continued Millie’s story in her books, and we’re excited to team up with Rebecca Sonnenshine and Lionsgate to share the next chapter with everyone.

I’m so thrilled with how well the movie is doing! It’s already made $133 million around the world, which is incredible considering it only cost $35 million to make. And it’s not over yet – it’s still playing in theaters here in the UK and is coming to even more countries over the next few weeks! I’m really hoping it continues to do well.
