The follow-up to Sydney Sweeney’s 2025 movie, The Housemaid, is now scheduled to come out in December 2027. This puts it up against some other huge films, including a new Marvel movie.
The movie, called The Housemaid’s Secret, is scheduled to come out on December 17, 2027. That’s the same day as the releases of Avengers: Secret Wars and The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum.
There’s no confirmed UK release date yet, but it’s likely to be around a week after the US release, similar to the first movie (according to Variety).
Based on Freida McFadden’s 2022 novel and adapted for the screen by Rebecca Sonnenshine, The Housemaid features Sydney Sweeney as Millie Calloway, a woman who takes a job as a live-in maid for the rich Winchester family.
What starts as an amazing job soon turns into a risky and thrilling situation filled with secrets, scandal, and a dangerous power struggle.
