The House Of Guinness James Norton looks every inch the villain as he is seen in character for the first time on the set of Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight’s new series
I’ve always been intrigued by the Guinness family saga. Having read about their heartbreaking losses and scandalous headlines, it’s impossible not to be captivated by their complex stories. Their wealth may stretch over £900 million today, but it seems that fortune has brought them more than just financial prosperity.
On Mondays filming in Liverpool for The House of Guinness, James Norton immersed himself in his role by delivering harsh kicks to a fellow actor with great intensity.
In a scene for the new Netflix production, the 39-year-old actor from Happy Valley appeared menacing while filming on the street.
I couldn’t hide my anger as I clenched a metal object, raising my arm with the intent to retaliate against my co-star, who lay helplessly on the ground.
In a sharp black suit, a white neck scarf, a lengthy overcoat, and a towering top hat, he presented an impressive appearance.
During the day, the Grantchester actor found himself involved in several confrontations with various other characters. The police arrived on the scene only after these encounters had taken place.
He was spotted at one point in a neck told before a large fight broke out in the street.
In other parts of the scene, a man could be seen riding in a horse-drawn carriage with a coffin containing him.
James later climbed a horse and carriage as several characters stood below shouting at the star.
During scene breaks, James appeared cheerful as the production crew attended to his hair and makeup adjustments.
Earlier this year, Netflix unveiled plans for a new series called “House of Guinness,” delving into the rich history of the renowned Guinness family and their iconic brewery.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m excited to share that the upcoming production will take place in both Dublin and New York during the 19th century. The story picks up following the demise of Benjamin Guinness, an influential figure who significantly contributed to the initial triumph of the renowned brewery.
Stevens Knight’s new series tells the remarkable story of the Irish brewery dynasty’s rise to fame, traced back to its founding in 1759 by Arthur Guinness.
Although the outside appearance portrays a history of riches and success, the reality is that the family has endured an unfortunate series of events.
The family has endured a string of unfortunate events, from Tara Browne’s fatal car accident in South Kensington to the scandalous affairs and divorces, as well as the tragic drowning of Honor Uloth at only 19 years old in 2020.
Despite having a fortune exceeding £900 million today, the Guinness family’s tragic personal losses have gained notoriety, leading many to view their wealth as supposedly “cursed.”
As an obsessed fan, I can’t help but be in awe of the fascinating Guinness dynasty! Their story is known far and wide, filled with wealth, poverty, power, influence, and heart-wrenching tragedy. It’s like a treasure trove of raw material for any creator to draw inspiration from, weaving an intricate tapestry that leaves us all in amazement.
I’ve had a long-standing interest in their tales, and I’m thrilled at the prospect of breathing life into these characters for all to experience.
