Having waited patiently since the fall 2023 production was delayed due to industry strikes, I am thrilled that filming has finally commenced.

As a devoted admirer, I’m eagerly anticipating the final season of “The Handmaid’s Tale,” which was initially slated for Hulu this autumn. However, there seems to be a slight delay in its release, but fortunately, it doesn’t appear to be too significant.

The production of the series was scheduled to begin at the end of 2023, aiming for a fall 2024 release. However, SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes during the summer of 2023 put everything on hold. Fortunately, the good news is that we’ve now resumed production.

Although Bruce Miller is no longer actively running the show on a daily basis, his creative vision for the last season remains central, ensuring as much fidelity as possible. This decision concludes the narrative arcs of characters like June, Serena Joy, Luke, Nick, and others.
