The Grand Tour has promised some “epic” moments in four new retrospective special episodes.

As a dedicated fan of The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime Video, I’m thrilled to relive some of the most unforgettable scenes straight from their impressive archive!

Titled “The Less Than Majestic Journey: Power and Splendor,” the initial episode is set to premiere on screens in the upcoming month, airing on Amazon Prime Video on April 18th. (According to Radio Times)

Presently, only the initial episode, featuring Richard Hammond and James May as they honor the internal combustion engine, has a definitive release date. The rest of the episodes (three in total) are scheduled to be released at some point later in the year and into 2026.

In the titled piece “The Almost-Grand Tour: A Journey Through Memory’s Corridor“, the second installment features the reunion of Hammond and May alongside Jeremy Clarkson as they reminisce about “memorable driving experiences in California, Morocco, Colorado, and Scandinavia”.

The episode’s overview hints that the hosts might cringe at the distress caused by water and mud, gently poke fun at Jeremy for his mechanical blunders, and relish a fantastic sequence showcasing everyone taking tumbles.

Coming next is a trip titled “A Step Deeper into Memories“, where our hosts delve into the mechanical masterpieces they crafted during the show. This special feature will highlight Jeremy Clarkson’s homemade SUV, as well as some thrilling drag races.

Ultimately, the review concludes on “The Grand-ish Tour: Totally Adrift in Memory Lane”, a show that includes a variety of experiences such as racing French hatchbacks and drifting Italian classics, an RV demolition derby, and encounters with some large canines. The episode will conclude with a touching goodbye to an old companion.

Wrapping up its run last year, The Grand Tour – hosted by May, Clarkson, and Hammond – announced that they wouldn’t be producing another car-themed series together.
