Oh my gosh, I just had to tell someone! I saw pictures of Bridget Fonda yesterday, and she looks absolutely amazing! She was just out running errands in LA, but seriously, she’s lost so much weight and looks incredible. I’m obsessed with her transformation – she looks fantastic!
The former actress, 62, appeared relaxed and self-assured while wearing black pants, a patterned blouse, and a light-colored tank top. She reportedly lost over 100 pounds in the past year.
She was carrying a black shopping bag and a black handbag over her shoulder, and held an iced drink – a welcome refreshment with the unusually warm weather for March.
Fonda looked subtly pleased and remarkably confident, likely because she had lost a significant amount of weight.
In February, the Daily Mail consulted a nutritionist to explore how the former celebrity might have lost weight.
According to Dr. Wilks, a weight loss expert in Southern California, the patient has lost a significant amount of weight recently, potentially around 100 pounds over the last year, with more noticeable loss in the past two months.
‘First of all, it is likely she used medication,’ he added.
She may have used a diabetes medication, such as a GLP-1 receptor agonist found in drugs like Zepbound and Ozempic, which could account for her quick and steady weight loss.
If she lost weight in a healthy way, it likely means she significantly reduced her intake of sugar, carbohydrates, and dairy.
Now feeling more self-assured, the actor – son of the late Peter Fonda and nephew of Jane Fonda – is apparently thinking about returning to acting in Hollywood.
According to Star magazine, a source said she’s very talented and should have no trouble landing the role.
Brigitte Fonda married film composer Danny Elfman in November 2003, but later reduced her public appearances after a severe car accident earlier that year. The crash, which happened in heavy rain, resulted in two broken vertebrae and significant damage to her car.
After having her son in 2005, she stepped back from acting to prioritize her recovery and raising her child.
In 2023, she firmly ruled out a return to acting, saying she enjoyed her private life too much: ‘I don’t think so, it’s too nice being a civilian.’
Jane Fonda began her acting career at just five years old, appearing in the 1969 film Easy Rider alongside her father, Peter Fonda, and stars Jack Nicholson and Dennis Hopper.
She was a highly sought-after and popular actress during the late 1980s and 1990s, known for her work in films like “You Can’t Hurry Love” (1988) and “Scandal” (1989).
In 1990, she appeared in Francis Ford Coppola’s The Godfather Part III, playing the role of Grace Hamilton, a journalist and photographer.
Following those roles, Bridget Fonda appeared in several films including Single White Female (1992) with Jennifer Jason Leigh, It Could Happen To You (1994), Jackie Brown (1997), A Simple Plan (1998), Lake Placid (1999), and Kiss of the Dragon (2001). Her final on-screen appearance was in the 2002 television film, Snow Queen.
