The five star hotel Molly Mae Hague’s sister Zoe was staying at in Bali before fleeing the country after just 48 hours because it didn’t live up to expectations

The previously chosen five-star hotel where Zoe Rae Hague had been lodging, which failed to meet her social media standards and prompted her departure from Bali, has now been disclosed.

The social media personality faced criticism online due to her short stay in the beautiful nation, as it failed to live up to the images she had shared on Instagram.

As a devoted admirer, I, Zoe (age 28), meticulously organized our Indonesian sojourn with my beloved spouse, Danny, not just as a celebration of our first marital anniversary, but also as an ode to the memories we’ve created together.

Even though they had a spacious ocean-facing room at the Radisson Blu, a luxury hotel, they chose to depart earlier and fly off to Dubai instead.

The resort is perched dramatically on the cliffs of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, in close proximity to the famous Uluwatu Temple, providing breathtaking vistas of the Indian Ocean.

This accommodation offers over 100 spacious double rooms with an upgrade to 14 opulent suites. Each suite includes a distinct living and dining space, a rooftop terrace, and breathtaking vistas.

The price for a premium room varies between $260 and $400 per night, and it can change based on the view and additional amenities. On the other hand, staying in a suite will cost guests between $650 and $800 each night.

It remains unclear which particular room Zoe and her husband, Danny, opted for during their short countryside visit, as they didn’t specify.

At this resort, you’ll find an array of culinary delights catering to various tastes, ranging from international and Indonesian buffets to a dedicated Italian eatery. Fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the on-site facilities such as a gym and wellness center.

In reality, Bali may not live up to the luxury portrayed by influencers on social media, since it is actually a developing nation. Nonetheless, Zoe clarified this point.

Ever since I touched down in Bali, there’s been this nagging feeling that something just isn’t quite fitting in with my vibe.

We arrived with lofty anticipations since social media portrayed this place as a haven where everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves immensely. The food joints, beaches, fitness centers, and coffee shops all looked invitingly pleasant.

I believe that the authentic essence of Bali isn’t portrayed enough, and I suspect this is due to many influencers focusing on showcasing its luxury aspects.

She mentioned: “Prior to enlisting in the army, I took a five-month journey through Southeast Asia. I visited Thailand, Vietnam, China, and Hong Kong, and I was quite busy exploring them all. However, I found something uniquely captivating about Bali.

We were informed that Uluwatu, our current location, is among the top spots to visit. If this place is considered one of the best, I’m curious about what the other excellent locations might be like.

‘I wasn’t going to sit down and say anything, but people want to know.’

After joining the call, Danny mentioned: ‘Either you desire a vacation for exploring new cultures, or you prefer one to unwind.’

Zoe added: “Indeed, we could’ve booked a flight for tomorrow since today marks our anniversary. However, time is valuable, and we’re eager to leave right away. So, there’s no point in waiting.

It seems like we may have fallen short, possibly due to not conducting thorough research ourselves or making some mistakes along the way. However, I did put in a significant amount of effort into researching the topic.

We believe it comes down to individual taste, and in this case, we didn’t find it appealing. Therefore, we’re taking charge and deciding to celebrate our anniversary at a place we adore, where we can unwind, feel relaxed, and even drink the water without worry.

It’s quite astonishing that you visited this region, given its reputation. While the high-end resorts are Instagram-worthy, they coexist with an underdeveloped part of the world where many residents struggle with poverty.

I’m sorry to hear about your less-than-ideal Bali experience. It’s important to remember that while Bali is enchanting with wonderful people, it’s not as affluent as places like Dubai. The misconception might lead to disappointment when the reality doesn’t match expectations. I hope you enjoy your time in Dubai instead!

I’m curious if there were particular aspects you found disappointing about it, as your feedback seemed rather general. When I visited last year, I absolutely enjoyed the experience!

Others concurred with Zoe, expressing: I’ve just returned from backpacking through Australia, Bali, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore, and I must say, I wholeheartedly concur with the instagram vs reality of Bali! Despite our best efforts to appreciate it, it is undeniably portrayed in a significantly different manner by influencers.

As a passionate devotee, I can’t help but wonder: why the hostility towards Bali? It seems some folks visited, didn’t click with it, and now they’re complaining? It just doesn’t make sense to me – why spend time and resources in a place that fails to bring joy?

Last year, my sister Molly-Mae found herself captivated by the enchanting beauty of Bali, as she graciously shared a collection of breathtaking images on Instagram for her followers to admire.

Zoe later shared a photo dump on Instagram, showcasing her lavish Dubai trip after leaving Bali.

During the off-peak month of July, the couple found accommodation at Atlantis The Royal, where nightly rates for their room began roughly at 290 pounds; however, in high season, those same rooms can go up to an astounding 1,570 pounds a night.

Zoe posted on Instagram: “Danny amazed me with a stunning statue at Atlantis The Royal, something I just couldn’t wrap my head around!!!

Visiting during this season proved quite beneficial since prices were significantly lower! It’s an ideal choice for a unique celebration.

In a fresh video shared on her Story, Zoe provided her followers with details about her recent Botox mishap.

As an ardent follower, I can tell you that my beloved influencer had a tough time back in February due to a harsh reaction to Botox. She shared her feelings, saying she was close to tears over the condition of her face.

However, only a few short months had passed, and she found herself returning once more, this time to have her forehead lines treated again, despite previously swearing never to set foot there. Unfortunately for Zoe, her second Botox treatment turned out to be a mishap, with the results being even worse than her initial experience.

As a die-hard admirer, I’ve noticed yet again my idol sporting an off-kilter gaze, one peeper dipping lower than the other. But fear not, dear fans, she took to social media on Wednesday to share that things are looking up – her eye is on the mend!

She demonstrated the improvement in her eye area by saying, ‘Latest Eye News. It’s still not perfect, but wow! It’s significantly better!!! Three weeks following the incident, I must say, I’m genuinely pleased.’

On a recent flight, it came to light that Zoe had endured harsh ridicule about her poorly done Botox from another passenger. This led to a heated argument.

During her latest vacation in Portugal with a companion, Zoe found herself involved in an unpleasant altercation with a rather unmannerly fellow traveler on the plane.

On her YouTube channel, she wore sunglasses casually as a disguise for an unfortunate incident that occurred upon our arrival in Portugal. In her words, “I experienced something truly distressing right after we touched down in Portugal.

While we stood in line, another line passed by, and there was this unpleasant woman, perhaps under the influence of something, who certainly seemed to be.

She was attempting to move ahead of me and exclaimed, ‘What are you doing standing there so motionless?’ To which I responded, ‘Why did you just use such a rude term for me?’

And her husband inquired, “What seems to be the issue here?”, to which she responded, “Your wife just accused me unfairly.” There was some conversation back and forth until he retorted, “Get a hold of yourself, you fool.

‘But I actually agreed, I thought fair enough. I do need to sort it out.’

Towards the end of the video, Zoe raised her sunglasses to show that her eye was still noticeably sagging a few weeks following her recent operation.

She experiences an uncommon side effect known as ptosis, which happens when the Botox treatment migrates outside of the targeted injection site and impacts the muscles responsible for lifting those regions. This results in a drooping or sagging of either the eyelid or eyebrow.

In her most recent video, Zoe shared with her audience that she experienced an issue with Botox, resulting in ptosis. Interestingly, this isn’t the first time this has happened to her; unfortunately, it’s happened for a second time as well.

People have been asking me, “Why on earth are you going back to that place again?” To clarify, I went there for my wedding because it holds significant meaning for me. Additionally, she has proven her reliability multiple times, which is why I feel comfortable returning.

She’s thoroughly qualified; would I go to a random person on the street instead? Absolutely not.

‘We don’t know why it’s happened again and that’s that, we’ve just got to ride the wave.’

Zoe has chosen to get Botox again following her sister Molly, who is 26, discussing past times with facial fillers and Botox in her Amazon documentary series.

In one episode, Molly discovered a widely shared picture of herself showing off a plumped-up lip and sharp jawline, which resulted in a wave of teasing comments. Some even went as far as comparing her likeness to an Xbox controller.

Since she turned sixteen, Molly started using makeup and facial fillers to change her look, and now she acknowledges that her fixation on appearing similar to others was unwholesome.

Molly pointed out: “You believe that the makeup and fillers enhance your appearance, but in reality, they seem to worsen it by a factor of ten.

As a teenager around the age of 16 or 17, I embarked on a journey with fillers. Looking back, it was a path that became increasingly slippery. I’ve heard comments comparing my appearance to an Xbox controller or Quagmire, but unfortunately, I am not familiar with these references. Nonetheless, the feedback has made me reflect on my choices and encourage others to tread carefully when considering such modifications at a young age.

It seemed compulsory for me, as if I were following a trend on Instagram, but in reality, it was quite harmful to mimic everyone else.

Looking at those photos, I can’t help but feel a pang of self-pity. Things seemed to take a turn for the worse. I attempted to see the positive, but in truth, it fell short, and fortunately, it turned out to be reversible.
