The first cards from Pokémon TCG: Destined Rivals have been revealed

We have a new reveal of cards from Destined Rivals.

The upcoming Pokémon Trading Card Game series, titled “Destiny’s Opponents,” is set within the Scarlet and Violet series and has generated much excitement. It’s slated for release at the end of May, with its English version comprising cards from two recent Japanese sets: Heat Wave Arena and The Glory of Team Rocket. Consequently, fans are eager to discover which cards from these sets will be part of Destiny’s Opponents.

Today, I was thrilled to witness the first official card unveiling from The Pokémon Company! In Destined Rivals, we’ll see some familiar faces like Team Rocket’s Owned Pokémon, as well as characters such as Misty, Ethan, Steven, Cynthia, Arvern, and Marnie.

First confirmed Destined Rivals cards

Today’s unveiling included a total of 36 cards, ranging from common cards to some highly anticipated Special Illustration Rare ones. One particularly thrilling find is Misty’s Psyduck, a beloved Pokémon character from the animated series. Moreover, Ho-Oh EX and the full art Kangaskhan are likely to be costly additions to any collection.

Of all the cards, which ones are you most looking forward to? The Destined Rivals cards are set for an official launch on May 30, 2025.
