The feud that means Myleene Klass is one person Emma Willis WON’T be turning to for broadcasting tips as she replaces Zoe Ball on Radio 2

Photographers got very excited when Myleene Klass and Emma Willis, two of the UK’s most stylish TV hosts, showed up at the popular Big Feastival food event in the Cotswolds.

A photo of them smiling or with their arms linked would have been incredibly popular and generated fantastic publicity for the event. The event, held at former Blur bassist Alex James’ farm in Kingham, Oxfordshire, would have greatly benefited from such a picture.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as expected. According to sources, Myleene Klass, accompanied by her fiancé Simon Motson, and Emma Bunton, with her singer husband Matt, deliberately steered clear of each other and didn’t exchange greetings.

Ever since things became strained between them in 2021, people have said these women don’t get along, even though they share many friends and work in the same entertainment industry.

It’s just…awkward, isn’t it? I’ve been following both of them for years, and it’s so strange seeing them constantly linked. They both used to present This Morning, and when Holly Willoughby left last year, they were both rumored to be taking her place! And get this – they’re neighbors, living super close to each other in North London. But apparently, they really don’t get along! Now, to make things even more complicated, they’re going to be competing directly for listeners every Saturday morning as the main presenters on rival radio stations. It’s a recipe for drama, honestly!

Emma, age 49, will begin hosting her own show on Radio 2 next Saturday. She had to postpone her original debut yesterday due to illness, but is now ready to start.

Myleene Klass, 47, first became well-known in 2000 on the TV show Popstars as a member of the band Hear’Say. Now, she hosts her own show on Classic FM, a role she’s had for 18 years. Every Saturday afternoon, she arrives at Global Radio’s headquarters in central London, near Leicester Square, looking stylish – around the same time Emma’s show begins airing from 1pm to 3pm.

Thankfully, Emma and I aren’t even in the same location – she’s a whole mile away at Broadcasting House! But honestly, I don’t think Myleene will be listening for tips. She’s busy pre-recording her show, which goes out late – from 10pm to 1am, so she’s got her hands full.

As Emma gets ready for her first public appearance, Myleene Klass shared a throwback photo yesterday. It was a recreation of her famous shower scene from the 2006 series of ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ – a series she appeared on alongside Emma’s husband, Matt Willis, formerly of the band Busted. Matt actually won the show that year, with Myleene coming in second. Myleene, a mother of three, captioned the photo remembering how her appearance became iconic. She joked that the white bikini she wore on the show helped pay for her children’s education.

Myleene Klass and Emma Bunton reportedly don’t get along, which creates tension in their shared social circles. Their disagreement has caused friction, with friends feeling pressured to choose sides. It seems their rivalry is about to intensify.

Myleene and Emma have very different personalities. Myleene is more of an extrovert and enjoys attention, while Emma prefers a more private and low-key lifestyle. You’d never catch Emma posing in a bikini, but Myleene is comfortable with that level of exposure.

‘Perhaps that’s part of why they don’t get on. Whatever it is, it’s all very nasty.’

A possible reason for this is that Myleene has a strained relationship with Rochelle Humes, who is good friends with Emma. Rochelle, along with her husband Marvin, attended Emma and Matt’s 2018 vow renewal ceremony, which celebrated their ten-year wedding anniversary.

Emma attended the wedding of Rochelle and Marvin at Blenheim Palace, the historic birthplace of Winston Churchill, in July 2012.

Myleene Klass and Rochelle Humes reportedly have a long-standing dislike for each other. The bad blood is believed to have started when Rochelle supported Myleene’s ex-husband, Graham Quinn, during his difficult divorce from Myleene in 2012.

Last August, the Humes celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary with a trip to Ibiza. They shared photos on Instagram, including one of them dining with Myleene’s ex-partner and father of her two daughters, Ava (18) and Hero (15).

Just days after Myleene Klass spoke about an incident, she revealed she’d caught Graham with another famous woman at her 2011 birthday party. Myleene claims this woman has benefited from her family’s reputation. She shared the story on Paul Brunson’s podcast, ‘We Need To Talk,’ saying she was so upset she immediately asked everyone to leave. There’s no indication that Rochelle was involved.

She said she unexpectedly saw him with a well-known celebrity on a balcony. It happened at her own party, in her own home. While they weren’t intimate, she described them as being in the process of undressing each other. Myleene Klass has kept the celebrity’s identity secret, and sources say the celebrity has sent a legal notice demanding she continue to do so, citing privacy concerns. Myleene has since admitted the experience deeply affected her and felt like her world fell apart.

It is not known whether relations are now strained between Emma’s husband Matt, 42, and Myleene.

They hadn’t been friends previously, but became close after appearing on ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!’ with Jason Donovan and other castmates. They were often seen together at industry events, like the British Comedy Awards (which no longer run) and the launch of the first Schools Top 10 chart during National Music Week in 2006.

According to a source, Emma and Myleene definitely knew each other before. Emma even traveled to Australia when Matt won ‘I’m a Celebrity,’ meaning they likely spent time together. What caused any distance between them since then remains unclear.

This rivalry is unlikely to be public, but both sides are determined to win.
