This research, titled ‘How Human is AI? Examining the Impact of Emotional Prompts on Artificial and Human and Responsiveness’, investigates how expressing emotions towards ChatGPT affects both its responses and subsequent human interaction. Our findings reveal that positive reinforcement improves AI output quality, while emotional tone demonstrably carries over into how people communicate with each other. Could understanding these dynamics pave the way for more nuanced and effective human-AI collaboration-and a deeper understanding of emotional contagion itself?
