The FBI has a serial killer on their hands in The Irrational season 2, episode 2 (Preview)

As a die-hard fan of The Irrational, having binge-watched every season multiple times and even joining a fan group on social media, I can confidently say that this show never disappoints. The second episode of season 2 was nothing short of exhilarating, with the return of Rose and the introduction of a new, chilling serial killer case.

In the second episode of Season 2 of “The Irrational”, safety has been restored, and things appear to be returning to normal, but it’s important to note that Alec might still engage in risky behavior.

In the first episode, we discovered where Rose had been hidden and who had abducted her. It took Alec a while to figure out how to rescue her, but eventually he did with the aid of the FBI. It’s wonderful that he could seek help from the FBI in a manner similar to how they offer assistance. Marissa was always by his side throughout this ordeal.

Now, it’s back to the routine, but with a twist! The FBI enlists Alec for assistance in an upcoming episode, and this time, it’s about a serial killer on the loose. This part of the preview appears to depict murders in three separate states. Why would someone commit killings across state lines, if not to evade capture? Indeed, it seems to have escalated into the FBI’s jurisdiction.

It’d be fascinating to witness Alec unraveling the reason behind the actions of this murderer. I can imagine him collaborating with the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) to tackle these cases, given his skills in solving crimes and profiling. He’s not only an asset to the team but also enjoys sharing his expertise to aid others in their career development.

The promotion offers us a glimpse into some upcoming storylines. At one point, Alec will find himself in a perilous situation, teetering on train tracks as a speeding train approaches. Despite Kylie’s warnings about his risky behavior, we know Alec won’t change his ways. In a world where heroes are scarce, someone must rise to the challenge!
