Witnessing the transformation of Abbey Clancy is truly captivating – she’s journeyed from an aspiring singer and television personality who didn’t quite make it, to becoming a widely recognized figure in households everywhere.
This individual, aged 39, co-hosts the podcast “The Therapy Couch” alongside her cherished spouse Peter Crouch, manages an ITVbe program titled “Celebrity Homes,” and has collaborated on various fashion collections, ranging from Tesco to Agent Provocateur.
This week, she was seen enjoying the sun on a luxurious yacht off the coast of France, accompanied by her handsome spouse.
In 2011, Abbey married Peter, which made her a WAG (Wife of a footballer). Since then, their family has grown with the addition of Sophia (age 13), Liberty (age 9), Johnny (age 6), and Jack (age 5). Now, this family proudly owns an impressive £30 million fortune.
She started her entertainment career quite young, at age 17, as part of the brief stint in the girl group Genie Queen, marking her initial steps into show business, which is now quite a distance from where she currently stands.
The group consisting of Lauren Blake, Anna Ord, and another member (created by Atomic Kitten’s founder Andy McCluskey who hails from Liverpool) didn’t manage to secure a hit single and eventually broke up shortly after formation.

In the previous year, Abbey found herself blushing profusely as she was jokingly criticized about her musical journey during a broadcast on Radio X.
On The Chris Moyles Show, hosted by Toby Tarrant and Dominic Byrne, the presenter shared: “I adore The Kooks, they’re among my top favorite bands ever, but not my absolute favorite. My all-time favorite band is actually another one that was active a few years ago.
He went on to say: ‘Have you come across them before? They’re known as The Genie Queen. Do their works ring a bell with you?’
‘No. That’s cruel, Toby! For God’s sake,’ Abbey exclaimed.
He clarified: “Is it referred to as the Genie Queen, or simply Genie Queen? I came across multiple variations on Google.
‘It’s just Genie Queen, or GQ if you want to shorten it,’ the model replied.
Toby replied: “Yes, understood. Abbey, it seems like your gaze is quite intense, so I’ll avoid returning it.
His co-host Dominic joked: ‘She’s going smack you in the mouth.’
Abbey exclaimed: ‘I didn’t realise I was coming on to get stitched up!’.

She let out a scream as he played one of their songs, titled “Finger Licking.” She exclaimed, “Ouch! I can’t believe you did this! You’re just awful, simply awful… I’ve never heard this remix before.
I’m feeling extremely frustrated and angry with you at the moment. It’s as if I could explode.
Abbey shared that she has always cherished singing and harbored dreams of becoming a popstar in the past. Interestingly, she was employed at an extraordinary vintage store in Liverpool known as Bulletproof.
‘And when hot girls come in, I’d just be like, ‘can you sing?’ And Genie Queen was formed.’
After her unsuccessful foray into pop music, Abbey gained prominence by participating in the second season of Britain’s Next Top Model in the year 2006.
At 20 years old, with a youthful demeanor, she finished as the first runner-up in the competition, falling short to Lianna Fowler in the final round. This outcome contrasted with the assumptions of her fellow cast members who often teased her due to her WAG-like glamorous appearance and fondness for self-tanning products.
When Abbey was first seeing Peter, a striker from Stoke City, little did she know that this romance would significantly boost her own career in the near future.
In the 2010 Sports Illustrated, she created quite a stir by modeling with just body paint that resembled an England soccer jersey, causing hearts to race.

During that particular year, she wore an England jersey, joining other partners of footballers for a Umbro promotional event.
On June 30, 2011, they tied the knot at Stapleford Park, and five years later, they reaffirmed their marriage commitment during a special occasion in the Maldives, celebrating their decade milestone together.
Following their second heartfelt wedding ceremony, they secured an opulent contract with HELLO!, allowing them to privately showcase their special day’s photographic memories to the magazine’s subscribers.
After achieving fame on Britain’s Next Top Model, Abbey subsequently triumphed in Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 and appeared in series like Hell’s Kitchen.

Abbey found success on Britain’s Next Top Model before winning Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 and acting in shows such as Hell’s Kitchen.
A decade later, in 2015, she found herself back as the host of Britain’s Next Top Model, having originally competed on the show as a contestant.
She expressed at that moment, “Britain’s Next Top Model holds a special place in my heart because it was the beginning of my career. I’m overjoyed to be back as the main judge.
As a die-hard enthusiast, I’m thrilled beyond words to join the phenomenal crew crafting this series! The anticipation is palpable as I eagerly prepare to infuse my unique touch into this incredible production. Loyal viewers should brace themselves for an unparalleled escalation in drama and panache that will leave them breathless, and the ladies had best be ready to raise their game to new heights!
In various marketing efforts, Abbey can be found promoting brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Matalan, and Reebok in advertisements. In the year 2023, she earned an impressive £1M from her professional engagements.

Previously, she starred in an alluring advertisement for Agent Provocateur, featuring Peter. She captivated in high-end lingerie valued at around £1,500 and playfully bound him to a billiard table.
This year, Agent Provocateur announced an increase of 20% in sales for their luxury underwear line following the airing of their advertisement.
For over ten years, Abbey has represented Agent Provocateur, yet her latest advertisement marks the first time she’s been featured alongside her spouse.
However, it was due to Peter’s participation, as he donned the brand’s boxers, that the company saw an increase in its attractiveness among male customers.
The couple, with an estimated joint net worth of approximately £30 million, have undoubtedly succeeded quite well in their professional paths.
However, the duo has soared to greater heights this year, with their popular shared podcast and involvement in various sponsorship agreements.
According to Brand and Culture Expert Nick Ede’s reports, each episode of their podcast allegedly earns them approximately £10,000.
