The popular British crime show Unforgotten, known for its first four seasons starring Nicola Walker, is leaving Netflix soon. Created and written by Chris Lang, the ITV series followed the working relationship between Walker’s character, DCI Cassie Stuart, and DI Sunil ‘Sunny’ Khan, played by Sanjeev Bhaskar.

What sets the show Unforgotten apart is its focus on detectives reopening and solving old, unsolved crimes. The first season centers around the discovery of a young man’s remains during construction work in London, leading to a decades-old missing person case being investigated.

Since its debut in 2015, Unforgotten has become a favorite among viewers and has also received positive reviews from critics. Many fans on IMDb have enthusiastically praised the show, with one calling it the best example of a British crime drama.

It’s a really gripping story and kept me hooked the whole time.

You can currently watch the first four seasons of Unforgotten on Netflix, but they’ll be removed on March 11th. All six seasons are available to buy as a box set on ITVX. We don’t yet know when the next season will be released.
