Previously, the ex-President wore overalls, held a pitchfork, and sang along with Megan Mullally, who is famously known for her role in Will & Grace, to the tune of the Greenacres theme song.

2011: Beauty pageant skit

2020: Virtual event
Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, the 2020 award ceremony held at Los Angeles’ Staples Center without an audience was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. He nicknamed these awards as the ‘Pand-Emmys.’
For the very first time, winners received their awards while at home, as a means to follow social distancing guidelines.
At the ceremony, Zendaya broke records by becoming the youngest recipient of the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series award at age 24, for her exceptional performance in Euphoria.
During the event, they also acknowledged and expressed gratitude towards ordinary individuals who had put in countless hours of work during the pandemic, including healthcare workers like nurses and delivery personnel.
2023: Pedro Pascal gets censored
As a die-hard admirer, I simply couldn’t pass up the chance to tease Succession’s brilliant Kieran Culkin! Before I had the pleasure of announcing the Best Supporting Actor in a Drama award, I just had to give him a good-natured ribbing.
When asked about sporting a sling on his left arm, the charismatic 48-year-old playfully quipped that the dad of two, aged 41, was responsible for his recent mishap.
Before moving on to discuss the nominees for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, Pascal, who is 48 years old, took a moment to redirect the conversation to himself. He mentioned that many people have been curious about his arm, and he clarified that it’s actually his shoulder.

2023: Elton John earns EGOT status
Elton John finally scored an EGOT after winning his first Emmy during the 2024 ceremony.
The honor is given to those artists who have achieved a premier accolade across various mediums – TV (Emmy), Music (Grammy), Movies (Oscar) and Theatre (Tony).
19 individuals, together with six more, have achieved the highly coveted super-selective distinction in competitive fields. Additionally, these six individuals were also recognized as EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony) winners due to some special honorary accolades.
However, even though Elton achieved an impressive feat, he was unable to attend the ceremony in Los Angeles to receive the award because he needed to recover from a recent knee surgery and couldn’t participate in the show.
