The Division Resurgence is a third-person shooter RPG where you fight against enemy groups and work to rebuild a world for everyday people in a shared, open environment. Leveling up is crucial to accessing all the game has to offer. This guide will show you the most effective ways to gain levels, specifically how to reach level 15, which unlocks the majority of the game’s content and activities.
How to level up quickly in The Division Resurgence
As I said before, progressing through the main story missions and leveling up is key to unlocking everything The Division Resurgence has to offer. Here are some effective ways to earn Character XP and level up faster:
1. Complete Daily and Weekly Quests
Daily and Weekly Quests are the best way to consistently earn Character XP and the materials you need to upgrade your character. These quests are designed to be fairly easy, and you get five free attempts each day with Daily Quests.
As a player, I’ve found it’s really easy to rack up rewards! Just doing things like leveling up a weapon even once, or using a Signature ability a couple of times, gets you XP, Pass XP, Specialization XP, and even Phoenix Credits. Plus, you get other cool stuff like Basic Credits and materials for your Clan. If you’re up for a bigger challenge, Weekly Quests give even better rewards, like Weapon Parts and more!
2. Take on Weekly Bounties
Okay, so “Weekly Bounties” are a really great way for me to level up my character and grab some useful Mods. Basically, I just need to hunt down specific enemies – they give me a list each week – and take them out to get the rewards. Each week there are a bunch of smaller targets and one big one I need to focus on.
To find what you’re looking for, you’ll need to finish specific events in the game world. These events will show you where smaller targets are, and defeating those smaller targets will reveal the location of the main target. You can tackle these challenges on your own or play with friends. It takes time, but the rewards are great – you might even get random OS Protocols!
3. Clear Side Missions
In addition to the main story missions, completing side missions is a great way to earn extra Character XP, Phoenix Credits, Skill Mods, materials, and other useful items. These side missions are generally pretty easy – often involving simple tasks like delivering a single piece of equipment from the Dark Zone.
4. Revisit Mission Replay
Mission Replays are a fantastic way to earn extra Character XP, gear, crafting materials, and other useful items. You can play them alone or with friends, and choose from different difficulty levels – Normal, Hard, Challenging, and Heroic – to keep things interesting.
5. Try World Events
World Events offer rewards like Character XP and items to improve your Specializations. For instance, you might encounter a Hostage Rescue or an Arms Deal Disruption. These events require you to defeat enemies and then locate and mark the arms cache so it can be collected.
6. Dive into Dark Zone
The Dark Zone is a thrilling game mode where you can battle both other players and enemies to earn rewards like character experience, skill upgrades, and special currency. You’ll explore the area, collect valuable but ‘contaminated’ loot, and try to escape with it within 20 minutes – it’s challenging, but definitely worth the effort!
7. Try Hostile Nest
Finally, you can visit Hostile Nests to earn Character XP and item upgrades. These nests are scattered throughout the World map, just waiting to be explored and cleared out.
