The Division Resurgence lets you experience the popular looter-shooter gameplay on your phone. Finding loot while exploring New York is fun, but to succeed in the later stages of the game, you’ll need to learn how to craft and upgrade your gear. This guide will show you how to collect blueprints, find materials, and create the best possible versions of your weapons and equipment – what players call ‘God Rolls’.
The Crafting Bench Fundamentals of The Division Resurgence
Okay, so the crafting bench in my base is where I make all the cool stuff – new weapons, armor, and upgrades. Instead of just hoping for a good gun to drop, I can actually build it myself if I’ve found the blueprint and have all the materials I need. It’s awesome!
Making things in this game depends a lot on finding and reusing materials. Instead of selling old equipment, break it down to collect resources. When you craft an item, its core strength or defense will be based on your level, but other details will be randomly determined. You might have to make the same weapon several times to get the perfect set of stats.

Managing Blueprints
Okay, so here’s the deal: you can’t just make stuff in this game. You need to find or unlock the blueprint for it first. Think of blueprints as permanent recipes – once you have one, your crafting bench knows how to build that item, and it’ll always be available to make. Basically, no blueprint, no crafting!
Get basic crafting plans right away by doing side quests in the open world. As you play, find rarer plans by taking over important locations and completing special events. You can also buy plans from shops in settlements or earn them by playing the Seasonal Battle Pass. Focus on activities that always give you new plans to help you build more things.
Recalibration: Chasing the God Roll
As a player, what everyone really wants is a “God Roll” – that perfect piece of gear where everything is exactly how you need it for your character. Honestly, finding one naturally is super rare! Luckily, the Recalibration Station lets you take good gear and basically fine-tune it until it is perfect. It’s a game changer!
Okay, so recalibration is a lifesaver. Basically, I can take a cool perk or stat from a piece of junk gear – something I don’t need – and put it onto my good stuff. Like, if my backpack has a terrible health bonus, I can swap it out for a really strong damage boost from another backpack I found. It’s all about customizing my gear to be exactly how I want it!
The key limitation is that you can only adjust one attribute on each piece of equipment. After changing a stat, the other attributes become fixed and can’t be altered. So, it’s best to only recalibrate gear that’s almost perfect – only one stat away from its ideal values.
Optimization Strategies
To get the most out of this system, start building your Recalibration Library as soon as possible. When you find unwanted gear with a single, fully upgraded stat, don’t break it down for parts. Instead, save that perfect stat by extracting it into your library at the designated station.
Destroying unwanted items lets you save their best stats for later use on your favorite gear. Begin by saving the highest weapon damage and critical hit chance. By carefully collecting and upgrading almost-perfect items, you can eventually create a complete set of perfectly optimized gear.
Final Thoughts
Becoming skilled at crafting and upgrading gear is the key to becoming a top-tier agent in The Division Resurgence. While finding good loot relies partly on chance, using blueprints and the Recalibration Library gives you control over improving your equipment. By breaking down unwanted items and carefully extracting the best stats, you can build a powerful arsenal to conquer even the most challenging missions. Focus on gathering resources, optimize your gear stats, and excel in the endgame.
