The curtain comes down on Ralph Fiennes’ swipe at his ex-wife Alex

It’s interesting to consider if Ralph Fiennes experienced some comeuppance after playfully teasing his former wife, Alex Kingston, during her first appearance on Strictly Come Dancing last week.

The same week 62-year-old Deborah Kingston appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, Ralph Fiennes shared a trailer showing him dancing with his ex-girlfriend, Francesca Annis, as they prepared for their play, Small Hotel.

Oh my gosh, can you believe it? Ralph Fiennes, the *absolute* Ralph Fiennes, started something with Eleanor Bron way back in 1995! They were performing Hamlet together, and he was actually married to Alex Kingston at the time. It’s just…iconic. I’ve been following his career forever, and this little detail? Pure gold. I mean, Hamlet and a secret romance? It’s perfect!

It was perhaps fittingly ironic that Ralph Fiennes’ opening night at the Theatre Royal Bath last Friday was disrupted when the revolving stage malfunctioned with a loud crash during the play’s most dramatic moment.

The safety curtain came down, and the stage manager quickly ran on stage to announce they would reset the scene and begin again from where they had stopped.

It took a painful thirteen minutes to resolve the technical issue. During that time, some people left, while others shifted around, stretched, yawned, and started using their phones.

When the play resumed after a pause, the audience applauded enthusiastically as Ralph Fiennes’ character reappeared, sitting on a bed and clearly very angry.

He and Ms. Kingston were married for four years, from 1993 to 1997. They had been a couple for a total of ten years, having first met while they were both students.

He and Ms Annis were together for 11 years, from 1995 to 2006.

Here’s one titbit for Lady Whistledown

Oh my gosh, I was SO worried when I heard about Genevieve Chenneour! Apparently, someone mugged her in London a few months ago – can you imagine?! It was absolutely terrifying to read about, but thankfully, it hasn’t stopped her from getting back out there and dating. I’m so relieved she’s doing okay and hasn’t let it ruin things for her. She deserves all the happiness!

Sources confirm that Clara Livingston, the former Team GB swimmer and current actress, is using the exclusive dating app Raya.

She is a ‘dog mum’, who is ‘led by spirit, not ego’, according to her profile.

I recently shared that singer Lily Allen had rejoined the dating app following her breakup from actor David Harbour.

Bum deal for Emma

It’s likely Emma Corrin, the actress from The Crown, was too busy with the excitement to really notice the clothes at the Miu Miu show during Paris Fashion Week, given how crowded the front row was with other celebrities.

A video shows Emma, 29, looking uncomfortable while seated next to Alexa Chung, 41, and Kylie Jenner, 28. In the footage, someone appears to say, ‘so numb’.

Beauty is pain!

Caspar Jopling, who recently ended his relationship with singer Ellie Goulding, has not only found a new partner but also gotten into incredible shape, showing off a noticeable six-pack.

Harry Styles, 33, recently finished an Iron Man competition in Texas and looked incredibly fit, as seen in photos. He was also spotted kissing actress Olivia Wilde at a pub in Notting Hill.

Thirty-eight-year-old Ellie Goulding shared a video on Instagram demonstrating her boxing skills and fitness.

‘In my own league I guess,’ she said.

Sounds like the gloves are off!

Em’s court out

Emily Atack wasn’t worried about appearing nude in the Disney+ series based on Jilly Cooper’s ‘Rivals’; she was actually more nervous about the tennis scenes.

Emily told her mother Kate: ‘For my first scene, I have to play tennis in the nude.’

As Kate tried to calm her, Emily explained: ‘It’s not the nudity – I can’t play tennis!’

Despite efforts to make his concerts environmentally friendly, Harry Styles is facing criticism from environmental activists. Plans for his £30 million Hampstead mansion include cutting down at least 20 trees, which has drawn their ire.

‘It is sad every time they take things down,’ one neighbour laments.

If he’s able to proceed simply because he has the funds, we’re limited in what we can do to stop him, but I’d prefer to leave things unchanged.
