Leon Jackman, who stars in The Traitors, has disclosed that becoming famous from the popular show hasn’t altered his daily routine, as he continues to joyfully work part-time selling mobile phones.

In the third season of the series, which concluded last Friday, Leon, aged 40, emerged as a popular character known for his faithfulness, only to later be exiled from favor.

Although Leon didn’t get the £94,600 reward, his companions Leanne Quigley and Jake Brown managed to clinch the victory in a thrilling finale instead.

In a harsh turn of events, Traitor Charlotte Berman was expelled from the group. Additionally, Francesca Rowan-Plowden and Alexander Dragonetti were dismissed as well, following suspicions that they might also be villains, instigated by Jake and Leanne.

Even though he gained instant stardom on the BBC’s highest-rated reality TV program, Leon has managed to stay humble, admitting that his fame has attracted considerable attention towards his store as well.

In simpler terms, he shared with the BBC that many individuals are asking for selfies and video messages from him, but he emphasized that despite this, he remains a simple man who typically works as a mobile phone salesperson.

Leon also mentioned that certain clients were taken aback to see him serving them, commenting: “The most peculiar instance was when someone stated, ‘You impress me greatly, indeed remarkable, yet I can’t help but wonder why you’re still working here?’

‘I always said to my boss when I got on to the show… ‘I am coming back to sell phones’.

He went on: ‘All I know is to make sure I have money to pay my mortgage and my family is fine.

Should the chance arise, let me clarify, I never entered this game show with dreams of becoming a star. Yet, it’s heartening when folks approach me, expressing their belief that I am one.

Prior to his appearance on the show, Leon was questioned about his plans for the prize money if he were to win, to which he admitted: “I’d need to consult with the higher-up first – my spouse, aka the boss – to find out our current situation.

If I manage to come out victorious, it would certainly be beneficial since expenses such as bills need to be covered and the overall cost of living is on the rise.

Let’s tidy up my garden storage area; it seems it’s time for a new one. Also, there are a few small household items I want to organize properly.

He maintained that receiving the money wouldn’t alter him, furthermore, he emphasized: “I’ve no intentions of quitting my job and traveling globally!

Family is my top priority, and I’d like to show my appreciation for my mother’s many sacrifices during my upbringing by giving her some financial support.

Last week, the loyal supporters of the Traitors were deeply disappointed when Leon was unfairly expelled following false accusations made by his fellow believers.

The retail worker became a prime suspect following his survival in the deadly competition earlier in the week, as he was unable to clear his name of the accusations.

After eliminating another member from their group, X addressed the remaining participants as “unintelligent.” However, Minah and Charlotte managed to continue their deceptive roles as Traitors without being discovered.
