The Boys star hopes her character dies in the final season

As a gamer who has spent countless hours navigating through the virtual worlds of superheroes and villains, I can’t help but feel a sense of anticipation for the final season of The Boys. Valorie Curry’s character, Firecracker, has been quite the antagonist, and as someone who enjoys a good villain getting their comeuppance, I must say I wholeheartedly agree with her wish to see Firecracker bite the dust.

The Boys star Valorie Curry knows exactly how she’d like her character to bow out on the show.

In the fourth season of the satirical superhero series, Curry took on the role of Misty Tucker Gray, also known as Firecracker, a character who exhibits extremist and hateful tendencies. In a recent interview, the actor expressed her thoughts about the fifth and concluding season of Eric Kripke’s grisly show, mentioning that she wouldn’t object to her character meeting an untimely end before the last episode.

In a conversation with The Hollywood Reporter at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, she expressed: “I wish her harm. Her behavior is widely criticized. She’s detestable. She’s abominable. I hope something unfortunate befalls her. I just hope it’s not due to her medication, as that seems too simplistic.”

It appears that Curry is considering a particular person for the role, expressing her hope that the character portrayed by Susan Heyward, known as Firecracker, will receive what’s due to her.

“Curry suggested that it ought to be Sage who survives, leading to a spinoff series. However, he expressed a hope that her character meets an end.”

Although it remains uncertain if a spinoff for the popular series Sage will materialize, enthusiasts of the quirky Superhero saga are eagerly anticipating insights into the backstory of Soldier Boy, the timeless character portrayed by Jensen Ackles, through an upcoming prequel.

In the fifth season, the actor from the series Supernatural is set to reappear, while a prequel titled Vought Rising has also been announced. Ackles referred to this upcoming storyline as an “excessive and sensational tale.”

In the ’50s New York City setting, the show delves into the backstory of Aya Cash’s character, Stormfront.

As a long-time fan of compelling narratives, I am thrilled to learn about the upcoming series that promises to delve into the intricate and mysterious origins of Vought in the 1950s. Having always been fascinated by the backstories of fictional characters, especially superheroes and villains, I find this focus on Soldier Boy’s early exploits and Stormfront (formerly Clara Vought) captivating. Given my personal experience with unraveling complex plots, I can only imagine the layers of deception and suspense that await us in this twisted murder mystery. The executive producers Paul Grellong and Kripke have certainly piqued my interest, and I eagerly await the release of this series to immerse myself in the intricacies of their storytelling.

We’re eagerly anticipating astonishing and disturbing you with this gripping tale soaked in blood and the mysterious compound, V.

The Boys seasons 1-4 are available to watch on Prime Video now.
