Verdict on The Boatyard

Recap

Okay, so this movie is about five friends just trying to have a fun weekend getaway, but things go horribly wrong! They stumble into this creepy, isolated town, and it quickly becomes clear the locals aren’t exactly welcoming. In fact, they have some seriously sinister plans for our group, and the friends have to fight for their lives to escape and survive against these… well, let’s just say very hungry residents!

Best Parts

The story centers around a group of carefree partiers who find themselves trapped by a cannibal near a well. They’re overwhelmed and desperately search for a way to escape, facing unexpected twists and turns along the way.

Worst Parts

As a movie fan, something just doesn’t sit right with the scale of this town – it feels too spacious for everyone to be tangled up in what’s happening. And honestly, it seems like the characters could just *leave* if they wanted to, which is weird. Then there’s the order things happen in – it feels strangely paced. Plus, that group on the boat? They’re basically creating all their own messes with how carelessly they’re acting. It’s frustrating to watch!

Final ThoughtsThe Boatyard is the typical violent late-night horror.
