Shaynna and Steve tied the knot 18 years prior to their split.
They had previously been dating for 11 months after meeting at a local bar in Melbourne.
Shaynna has two kids – a boy named Jesse Thomas and a girl called Carly Anne. She had them with her former spouse.
A mere few months prior to revealing their separation, the television personality expressed her affection for her charming spouse and shared their secrets for maintaining passion in their matrimony.
At that point, she mentioned to New Idea that they always set aside special times for each other, known as ‘quality time’, due to their hectic schedules.
‘The secret is every time we go out, it actually is date night,’ she said.
‘You treat each other as your date, rather than just expecting them to always be there.
In simpler terms, when you meet up again, focus on being fully present. Ensure mutual connection and regular communication to maintain it.
Shaynna currently stars on The Block where she is a judge alongside Marty Fox and Darren Palmer.
