The Block’s Scott Cam has given fans a glimpse of what to expect from the renovation hit in 2026.
The 62-year-old television host posted a photo on social media of the new Block location in Mount Eliza, a seaside neighborhood on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula.
Just 62 kilometers from Melbourne, this quiet little town offers a perfect escape with its hidden beaches and beautiful bushland.
Scott announced on Instagram that he and his team are heading to Mount Eliza for their next big project, saying, ‘Next year we’re building something special on the coast!’
He shared a photo of himself with his co-host, Shelley Craft, and a lovely view of the coast, showing houses nestled among the trees.
The popular tradesman playfully marked the future building location for the next season of The Block with a custom emoji ‘pin’.

Nine announced the official launch date for its popular ratings winner on Wednesday, following a leak of information a week prior on the Fifi, Fev and Nick breakfast show on Fox 101.9.
Nine revealed that five teams participating in the show *Blockheads* will each construct a $5 million house on a prime block of land on Old Mornington Road. The location, situated on a high point of the peninsula, offers beautiful water views.
Nine reportedly paid just under $11 million to acquire the rights after several weeks of discussions.
Recent photos show Scott visited the location by helicopter this week to take a look.
Nine shared a new photo revealing a large area of cleared land and blueprints for what looks like a very large house.
It comes after Daily Mail broke an exclusive on The Block 2026 in August.
The property, bought from ex-race car driver and Porsche enthusiast Rusty French, covers 1.35 hectares and has been divided into 10 high-end building plots.
The Block has already purchased six properties for its 2026 season. They are currently looking to secure the final four, either through purchase or short-term rental.

People noticed Nine in Six, a company that frequently works on the show The Block, wearing branded clothing at a café shortly before the official announcement of their involvement. This led to speculation about their participation weeks before it was confirmed.
The show’s filming location has been revealed while producers are secretly talking to famous faces about a possible celebrity version, with any money raised from auctions going to charity.
It’s still unknown if the celebrity version will be filmed in Mount Eliza, or if it’s being saved for a later season.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m constantly asked about who’s really making waves right now. Lately, I’ve been noticing a lot of buzz around some truly diverse figures – the hilarious duo Hamish and Andy, the inspiring Olympic champion Cathy Freeman, and, of course, a few familiar faces from *Married At First Sight*. It’s a really interesting mix of talent and personalities capturing everyone’s attention!
Although names like Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli have been discussed as possibilities, sources say it’s unlikely they’ll actually join the project.
