The Block’s Scott Cam reveals the one thing about the show that makes him want to ‘spew’

Scott Cam has revealed the one thing that makes him nervous when filming The Block.

On Thursday, just before the start of the 21st season, the TV host made an appearance on Triple M Breakfast show.

On auction day at the conclusion of every series, Scott openly confessed that his nerves are sky-high.

‘Look, I don’t get nervous ever,’ the 62-year-old confessed to radio host Aaron ‘Woodsy’ Woods.

‘And then on auction day, I wake up feeling sick to my stomach. I’m about to have a spew.’

Scott further mentioned that it gave him unease to observe the auction, considering everyone involved had invested a great deal of effort and truly deserved some financial return.

‘He stated that we aim for no one to fall short; instead, we hope everyone succeeds and benefits from their hard work.’

I’m quite anxious about them as I hope they manage to earn some profit on this particular day. However, there have been instances where they haven’t made any money at all.

He stated: ‘Today is particularly challenging at work when I see an individual who has been working here for three months and earned five thousand dollars.’

The show, completed filming on June 1, will debut a bit earlier than expected, appearing on screens as early as July 27.

It appears that this season could deviate from the usual intense rivalries and sensational conflicts, as insiders suggest.

‘There’s actually much less conflict this year,’ one well-placed insider said.

Although it might seem uninteresting at first glance, there’s a captivating allure and cozy appeal to this period that could take longtime admirers by surprise.

The debut glimpse of the new series was revealed by Nine, as seen in a teaser trailer that aired alongside their State of Origin match broadcast.

The video featured Scott Cam and Shelley Craft, who were navigating Block-themed trucks as part of a caravan, en route to their latest destination.

This year, Scott mentions in the video that we have gathered everything and are traveling to a unique destination, he says.

Indeed, Australia, I’ve discovered a gem of a rural town that you’ll adore. We’re all set for a heap of enjoyable experiences!

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but share an exciting sneak peek: In 2025, our favorite Block teams will make their grand entrance! Prepare to meet Emma and Ben, Han and Can, Robbie and Matt, Alicia and Sonny, and the dynamic duo Britt and Taz. I can hardly wait!

The teams leaped enthusiastically from Scott’s large truck to publicize what looks set to be an exceptional Block season.

In December, according to News Corp’s report, Nine spent approximately $10 million to purchase a parcel of land, which has since been divided into five distinct plots.

According to the report, the property at Micjoy Pty Ltd was purchased for a total of $9,445,801.00 by its parent company.

In a similar vein to past Block investments, Micjoy spent approximately ten million dollars on the well-known Gatwick Hotel in Melbourne during the Block’s 2017 season.
