Jess Eva, a well-known figure in the Block community, together with her partner Norm Hogan, have recently shared that they parted ways about three years back.
From the popular pairings of the 2018 season, those who had been together for a while called off their relationship in 2021, and they’re now sharing with fans the explanations for their surprising split.
Three years have passed since Norm and I parted ways, but our affection for each other remains unchanged. We continue to cherish our friendship deeply and view ourselves as a close-knit family, as Jess shared with New Idea magazine.
The 40-year-old then revealed why they had chosen to keep their break up a secret until now.
She mentioned that there wasn’t any public display of emotions, but we both felt it was somewhat arrogant to make our separation announcement in the spotlight when it happened.

Fortunately, the pair are still on good terms and their friendship is as strong as ever.

He added they still lived together in their Sydney home – but slept in separate bedrooms.
Jess mentioned that the duo was putting in a great effort to take care of their two young kids, Freddie who’s nine, and Matilda who’s seven.
‘We sat them down and said there’s two kinds of divorces,’ she said.
Instead of a contentious divorce filled with hostility and arguments, we’ve opted for the healthier approach of strengthening our bond as ‘best friends’. So, I shared, “Your and my relationship is transforming into something more nurturing – we’re aiming to be best friends.
Norm and Jess rose to fame on the 2018 season of The Block.
Later, Jess appeared on the show “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!” and eventually took up hosting duties at Triple M Sydney.
At the final episode of the Block, the duo successfully auctioned off their apartment for a whopping $2,859,000, raking in an impressive $209,000 as their earnings.
In 2020, it was disclosed that the couple had used all their winnings from the contest on building swimming pools, gambling, and aiding their friends.
Additionally, she acknowledged that they had settled a friend’s auto loan, acquired two pieces of lawn equipment, and even made a real estate investment on Russell Island in Queensland.
