The Block’s Adrian Portelli slammed for letting his baby son suck on an extremely rare $130K dinosaur fossil: ‘That’s a rare piece of history, treat it with respect’

As a dedicated follower of Adrian Portelli’s Instagram account, I have been in awe of his adventurous and luxurious lifestyle for quite some time now. His recent purchase of a Tyrannosaurus Rex fossil foot was nothing short of astonishing. When he shared a video of his baby Mercy playing with the fossil, I couldn’t help but be intrigued by the unique interaction between father and son.

More recently, Adrian Portelli from The Block shocked people by disclosing his acquisition of a genuine T-Rex fossil.

The entrepreneur, who is 35 years old, surprised his audience once more on Wednesday by posting a brief video of his six-month-old son, Mercy, enjoying a dinosaur bone toy.

In the video, Mercy was seen reclining on Adrian’s bed, appearing satisfied as she clutched the fossil and enjoyed a contented suck on it.

An inquisitive youngster prevented his father from taking the bone, instead holding onto it with a mischievous smile on his face.

I’ve been utterly consumed with curiosity, and recently I made an exciting acquisition – a T-Rex foot! Many inquiries have swarmed in regarding this fascinating find, thus I labeled my post accordingly.

“Is this genuine? Yes, it’s an authentic fossil with a provenance. Approximately how old is it? Around 80 million years. How much does it cost to purchase a ticket for this fossil? It will set you back $130,000.”

Adrian continued: ‘Current price after it suffered a broken toe…Unknown.’

While fans were quick to coo over the cute clip, some took issue with Adrian’s choice of baby toys.

One blasted Adrian, writing: ‘That’s a rare piece of history. Treat it with some respect.’

Others however were quick to rush to Adrian’s defense.

One person stated that there’s no difference between a T-bone steak and regular steak – they’re both derived from animals, and the only variation is their age and the extra digits in the cost.

In response, the original commentator pointed out: “You’re aware how uncommon they are, right? It’s not a fair comparison to equate it with a T-bone steak.”

Finding a puzzle with intricately connected pieces that is similar to that one is quite uncommon. It deserves to be housed properly for appreciation. Disregard the potentially harmful substances used to preserve and treat it, which should not come into contact with a child’s mouth.

Adrian was prompted to speak up personally, replying with: “Feel free to purchase it from me and manage it as you prefer. Until then, I’ll continue using it as I please.”

Recently, Adrian posted stunning travel photos on Instagram from his global journeys using a personal plane.

One highlight that truly raised eyebrows was his new ‘T-Rex foot’.

As an obsessed fan, I couldn’t believe the outrageous buy my idol made! It left me speechless, and I wasn’t alone. His followers swarmed the post with a mixture of amazed reactions and hilarious comments. The absurdity of it all was not lost on any of us.

Adrian and his partner, Karlie Butler, welcomed their first child, Mercy, in January.

The distinct moniker is inspired by one of Portelli’s earliest high-end car acquisitions – an uncommon orange Lamborghini Murcielago, worth over half a million dollars.
