The Block stars hit back at cheating claims as they struggle to complete their en suite ahead of final reveals: ‘It’s our lowest week’
As a lifestyle expert with years of experience in navigating the complexities of reality television, I must say that the situation between Ricky and Haydn on The Block is indeed a challenging one. However, it’s important to remember that even the most seemingly perfect projects can encounter unexpected snags, as their en-suite renovation has painfully demonstrated.
In response to Foreman Dan’s accusations of cheating on the renovation program, Ricky and Haydn from The Block defended themselves.
This week, the beloved choices encountered a significant setback when trying to finish their private bathroom, forcing them to undertake a challenging reconstruction of the room instead.
After their builder unexpectedly went on a personal leave, there was added excitement or turmoil on the day when the final waterproofing was planned.
The pair were then accused of ‘lying and cheating’ because of mistakes their builder made.
Last week’s performance on the show was our poorest one, as our construction crew carried out certain tasks while we were away from the site, according to Haydn, who is 37 years old, in an interview with TV Week.
Foreman Dan accused us of being dishonest, untrustworthy individuals, claiming that we were intentionally being misleading. However, it appears that we were merely not informed about the events unfolding – the entire construction site seemed to be in chaos and disarray.
After discovering that the incorrect adhesive primer had been applied to the floor, a renovation of the en suite followed, and this discovery also caused a delay in the plastering process.
It turned out that the builder skipped waterproofing on the day due to his desire to attend a concert, which added to the troubles faced by Ricky and Haydn.
‘I’m not good with people lying to me,’ Ricky, 34, told the publication.
‘Having a builder on something as important as The Block, you have to have trust. It’s going to be hard to come back from that.’
After Ricky shared about his heartbreaking personal event, it was then that he decided to try out for the highly-rated television series produced by Nine.
The plumber expressed his intention of honoring his late friend Lachey, who tragically lost his life in 2012 due to a drunk driver at the age of 23.
He expressed the hope that, upon the conclusion of his life, he would find himself there, clapping for him and saying, “Well done, friend, you truly gave your all.”
In my recent chat with New Idea, I shared that it took several months for me to move past the pain of loss.
With a heavy heart, the person confessed that they often paid visits to their friend’s grave at the cemetery, shedding tears as they mourned.
In the end, time moved on, and I understood that Nick Lachey preferred if I didn’t cry at his grave, which is what Ricky conveyed.
After his friend tragically passed away, Ricky decided to seize each chance that presented itself.
He went on to say, “Since 2012, I’ve consistently taken a thorough approach in everything I do. I rarely let an opportunity pass me by without investigating it further.”
As the competition began, Ricky quickly gained a massive following, with numerous spectators expressing their affection for him and labeling him as their favorite celebrity, based on his attractive appearance.
Supporters have equally found themselves captivated by his upbeat demeanor and playful wit, expressing on social platforms that they are rooting for Ricky’s Yellow Squad as the clear favorites.
