In 2023, Eliza, who was known for her renovation series with her sister Liberty Paschke, had previously shared that six years prior, she found herself in the back of a stranger’s car. This situation eventually led to her being restrained by an unfamiliar man.

38-year-old woman asserted that she struggled to survive during the attack that transpired in St Kilda, Melbourne, on Australia Day in 2019.

Originally, the celebrity hailed an Uber ride to get home before midnight, but due to being unconscious, she exited the vehicle unknowingly. She found herself coming to consciousness 4.5 hours later, nestled in the back seat of a stranger’s car.

She thinks she was drugged in her drink, and her snug undergarments may have prevented a sexual assault.

She shared with The Herald Sun on Sunday that she had been kidnapped, and fortunately, some events during the ordeal are hazy for her, but she still had on her Spanx and large granny underwear, which remained undamaged.

She went on to say that the police concluded it was impossible for anyone to have put on and taken off those devices, implying that they had inadvertently protected her instead.

Initially, my dress and bra were tied around my waist, and this man was kissing my chest. Consequently, some saliva was exchanged between us. Remarkably, the authorities were able to derive a DNA profile from that saliva.

The celebrity has chosen to express herself publicly in order to shed light on the matter of sexual harassment, disclosing that many women contacted her following her initial account shared on their joint podcast, Try Before You Die.

In the 2023 season of The Block competition, Eliza and her sister Liberty finished in the second position, earning an impressive $1.05 million prize money, significantly surpassing their $3,250,000 minimum requirement.

They were among the ‘all stars’ team who assisted The Blockheads in 2024, and they made a comeback to The Block last year as well.

12 months ago, it emerged that Eliza, formerly an assistant to Hamish Blake and Andy Lee for a decade prior to her prominent role in The Block’s 19th season, announced her professional transition.

At that point, she disclosed that she was effectively employing her Journalism degree (and less-than-ideal romantic experiences) in a recurring piece for the 9Honey site.

Her former boss was one of the first to congratulate her in the comments.

Liberty and Eliza were also reportedly considering being featured on Channel Nine’s well-liked Travel Guides series.
