The Block billionaire buyer Adrian Portelli ADMITS the show is rigged: 'We hand-selected the auction order'

As a long-time follower of The Block, I must admit that this season has been nothing short of captivating. The unexpected twists and turns have kept me glued to my screen, eagerly awaiting each episode. However, the shock confession made by Adrian ‘Mr Lambo’ Portelli about the auction being rigged has left me somewhat perplexed.

On Monday, Adrian ‘Mr Lambo’ Portelli openly revealed some surprising truths about the inner workings of The Block, confessing that the auction process may not have been entirely fair and transparent.

35-year-old billionaire entrepreneur, known for his groundbreaking move of purchasing all Block homes on Phillip Island at a total cost of $15.03 million during the Sunday night auction, revealed to Nova’s Jase & Lauren that the sequence of bids was already decided prior to the event.

Portelli explained that he carefully arranged the auction sequence to ensure Maddy and Charlotte Harry went up for bidding last, hoping it would increase their chances of winning.

On the thrilling final episode of The Block, the Harry sisters clinched the title as the youngest winners in history, earning a staggering $1.65 million profit. Their beautifully remodeled property on Phillip Island was sold for a whopping $3.5 million on Sunday night.

According to Portelli, they decided that their home would be the final property put up for auction, with the intention of heightening the suspense.

‘The girls cared. They came in late. They were the underdogs, were picked on, were bullied.’

He mentioned that Marry and Charlotte had been previously alerted about the reason behind the auction of their property being held at the end, implying that the other competitors were unaware.

It seems only the females were privy to the scheme. Isn’t that wonderful? They are genuinely kind and pure-hearted, and they’ve been excelling at this game.

24-year-old Maddy and 22-year-old Charlotte were awarded an additional $100,000 for their remarkable win, and they plan to use some of it towards their stylish four-bedroom, three-bathroom house that had a starting bid of $1.85 million.

Maddy expressed heartfelt gratitude and astonishment about their victory. She was incredibly proud of the effort and determination they put in together.

Charlotte commented, “Finishing off The Block in such a triumphant manner feels extraordinary. We hadn’t envisioned it turning out this way. I wouldn’t have shared this unique journey with anyone other than Maddy.

Mid-production of the 20th season, the Sydney sisters made their entry into a lively setting, following the departure of couple Paige Beechey and Jesse Maguire from the set.

Regardless of the dramatic start they had in the contest, they undeniably left a strong impact with their completed house, securing a notable offer.

Following Portelli’s unexpected announcement about ‘Block Island’, which came into play after he had bought all five houses that were up for auction, belonging to the contestants on the same day.

In simple terms, he announced that he intends to distribute all his properties, which form a large resort, as part of a big raffle promotion managed by his LMCT+ company.
