The biggest names in Star Trek are coming to STLV in early August
As a die-hard Star Trek fan, I’m beyond excited for Star Trek Las Vegas 2024! The franchise has been a constant presence in my life for decades, and it brings me immense joy to see the talented stars and crew members who have contributed to its growth and consistency over the years.
Star Trek continues to thrive as a multi-decade old franchise with an ever-changing roster of actors and filmmakers. These individuals, both on-screen and off-, have played crucial roles in maintaining the franchise’s continuity and expansion for close to 60 years. Though names may change, the impressive pool of talent that Star Trek has amassed continues to amaze audiences year after year.
Fans continue to cherish and connect with their favorite actors from past shows and movies long after productions have ended. They eagerly attend meet-and-greets and conventions like Star Trek Las Vegas 2024, which takes place soon, to reencounter their beloved stars before the opportunity passes.
From August 1st to August 4th, 2024, the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV is where you’ll find Star Trek fans gathered for their annual convention, STLV: The 58-Year Mission. This event is a significant yearly reunion for all things Star Trek and this year promises to be no exception. Be prepared for the biggest names in the franchise to make an appearance.
Among the 177 names confirmed to attend, there are a few legendary stars from the Star Trek franchise. Notably, William Shatner, known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek: The Original Series, will be present. Additionally, Kate Mulgrew, who played Captain Kathryn Janeway in Star Trek: Voyager and Prodigy, is expected to be there. Sonequa Martin-Green, star of Discovery as Michael Burnham, and Anson Mount, portrayer of Christopher Pike in Strange New Worlds, are also on the list of attendees.
