If you’re looking for a fun, live-action dinosaur movie that isn’t part of the Jurassic Park series, there’s a great new option now available to stream. The Jurassic Park movies are so popular they often dominate the dinosaur movie genre, even though there’s always a lot of interest in these films.
I’ve always loved dinosaur movies, and it’s tough to make those creatures look real without a huge budget. Most smaller films just can’t pull it off. But I was seriously impressed with this new one! It just hit streaming, and the special effects are surprisingly good – they actually remind me of the original Jurassic Park, but made with way less money. As a fan, it’s really exciting to see!
Science fiction movies are performing very well on streaming platforms. Netflix saw huge success with War Machine starring Alan Ritchson, and Mercy, featuring Chris Pratt, topped the charts on Prime Video. Now, another streaming service is poised to have a sci-fi hit, and this could lead to more dinosaur movies being made.
Don’t Miss This New Dinosaur Movie On Streaming
The dinosaur movie Primitive War became available to stream on Hulu in the US on Saturday, April 4th. While it only made $1.2 million in theaters, it’s currently getting a great response from viewers, with an 86% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. This suggests it could become a surprisingly popular hit on the streaming service.
I’m really excited about Primitive War! As of today, Hulu’s Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice is their most popular movie, which is awesome. But honestly, we haven’t had many big dinosaur movies lately – just a couple like 65 with Adam Driver and the latest Jurassic World film. That’s why Primitive War feels like such a huge deal for dinosaur lovers like me, and I think it could quickly become the top movie in the genre!
Primitive War’s Major Jurassic Park Difference Is Why It Is So Exciting
What makes Primitive War promising is its surprisingly good special effects, considering its limited budget. It also stands out because it doesn’t simply try to be another Jurassic Park clone. While some of the dinosaurs might remind you of those in other films, the story itself feels original and new.
Look, I love a good dinosaur movie, and the Jurassic Park films are classics, but honestly, they’ve all started to feel a bit…samey. This one’s totally different, though. Forget theme parks – this is a wild ride where dinosaurs somehow end up smack-dab in the middle of the Vietnam War! It follows this elite reconnaissance team, nicknamed the Vultures, as they’re trying to survive not just the war, but also these time-displaced dinos in the jungle. It’s a fresh take, and definitely a different slice of the dinosaur pie.
Imagine soldiers fighting dinosaurs during the Vietnam War – that’s the fresh idea behind the new series, Primitive War. Unlike Jurassic Park, which offered a fairly straightforward explanation for the dinosaurs’ return, Primitive War dives into a more mind-bending sci-fi story. This unique combination is poised to make it a big success for Hulu.
