The Bear star joins Sarah Snook’s new show
As a fan who’s been following Abby Elliott’s career since her days on Saturday Night Live, it’s always thrilling to see her taking on new and exciting roles. With her performance as Sierra in The Bear, she’s proven her knack for portraying complex characters with a unique charm. Now, in Sarah Snook’s upcoming Peacock series All Her Fault, Elliott will join forces with Dakota Fanning, Jake Lacy, Sophia Lillis, and Michael Peña – quite the star-studded cast!
Actress Abby Elliott, famously known as “The Bear,” has secured her next acting gig in Sarah Snook’s forthcoming Peacock series titled “All Her Fault“.
As reported by Deadline, actress Dakota Fanning, known for her roles in both “Elliott” and “Ripley,” has been confirmed to star in a suspenseful drama titled after its source material, a novel penned by Andrea Mara.
“All Blamed on Her” stars Snooki as Marissa Irvine, a mother who visits 14 Arthur Avenue to pick up her son Milo from a friend’s house, where he had been for a playdate with a classmate attending the same new school.
In the ongoing narrative, it unfolds that the person responding at the door is not a mother she recognizes. It’s neither the nanny nor the woman holding her child, Milo. This sets in motion every parent’s deepest fear.
In this upcoming project, Elliott assumes the character of Lia, and Fanning is poised to portray Jenny. More information regarding their roles is forthcoming.
Additionally, you’ll find Jake Lacy from “The White Lotus,” Sophia Lillis known for her role in “Dungeons & Dragons,” and Michael Peña, star of “Secret Headquarters” among the other cast members.
As a passionate fan, I’m thrilled to share that Megan Gallagher, a brilliant writer and creator, will be leading the team on this exciting series! Minkie Spiro, known for her exceptional work on “3 Body Problem”, is set to direct the premiere episode and more. Together with Snook, we can’t wait to see what they’ll bring to life as executive producers!
Apart from “All Her Fault“, Snook also has other projects in the pipeline. It was recently announced that her one-woman adaptation of “The Picture of Dorian Gray” is bound for Broadway, following the acclaim she received on London’s West End.
Based on Oscar Wilde’s novel with the same title, the stage production revolves around a young character who trades his soul for eternal youth and good looks. Starting in the spring of the following year, Snook will portray multiple roles, numbering 26 in total.
All Her Fault does not yet have a release date.
