The Bear star Jeremy Allen White proves life imitates art as he heads out of the Golden Globes for a cigarette – just like his chain-smoking character Carmy

Jeremy Allen White, known for his role in The Bear, seemed to mirror his character’s habits when he was photographed leaving the Golden Globes on Sunday with a cigarette.

The actor perfectly embodied his character, Carmy – the famously stressed and chain-smoking chef from the popular show.

Jeremy, looking dapper in a black tuxedo, was photographed leaving the awards ceremony. He had been nominated for awards in both film and television that night.

He won awards for his acting in both a movie and a TV series. He was recognized for his performance in the drama film Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere, and for his work in the comedy series The Bear.

Unfortunately, he missed out to Wagner Moura and Seth Rogen in the categories respectively.

Despite everything, Jeremy seemed cheerful as he went outside for a cigarette after the awards ceremony, then headed to Vas J Morgan’s popular after-party.

Jeremy didn’t attend the Golden Globes last year because he was busy filming the movie about Bruce Springsteen, called Deliver Me from Nowhere.

He showed up this time, but he didn’t walk the red carpet with his “Bear” co-star, Molly Gordon, who many believe he’s dating.

Timothée Chalamet is now the frontrunner to win the Best Actor Oscar, surpassing Leonardo DiCaprio, after winning the Golden Globe Award for his performance in Marty Supreme, directed by Josh Safdie. DiCaprio currently stars in the film One Battle After Another.

Leading up to awards season, Leonardo DiCaprio, 51, was the frontrunner to win Best Actor. However, according to predictions from the Kalshi exchange, Timothée Chalamet is now the clear favorite to win the top acting prize at the Academy Awards in March.

Despite stiff competition, Leonardo DiCaprio’s film, One Battle After Another, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson, won Best Picture – Comedy or Musical at an awards ceremony Sunday night at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California. It beat out films starring Timothée Chalamet, as well as Blue Moon, Bugonia, No Other Choice, and Nouvelle Vague to claim the prize.

The film One Battle After Another received the most awards at the event, taking home four prizes. However, it’s expected to face strong competition at the Oscars, particularly from Chloe Zhao’s Hamnet, which won the final award of the night – Best Picture in the Drama category – beating out films like Frankenstein, It Was Just An Accident, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, and Sinners.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always keeping an eye on what’s trending in television, and this year’s winners really stood out! In the drama category, ‘The Pitt’ took the prize, while ‘The Studio’ charmed everyone in the comedy or musical space. And for those who love a good limited series, ‘Adolescence’ absolutely delivered and earned the win. All fantastic shows!

Thirty-year-old Timothée Chalamet sparked conversation when he seemingly ignored his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, while accepting the award for Marty Supreme.

The French actor had a standout moment at the awards show, winning the award for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy film. He ended his acceptance speech quickly and sweetly, saying, ‘To my parents and partner, I love you. Thank you so much.’

Jenner, 28, received a surprisingly subtle expression of affection after publicly professing her love at last week’s Critics Choice Awards 2026.

Timothée Chalamet won the role, beating out strong competition including Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, Ethan Hawke, Lee Byung-Hun, and Jesse Plemons. They were all considered for the film, titled ‘One Battle After Another’.

One Battle After Another was the big winner at the awards, taking home four prizes, including Best Picture (Comedy or Musical). Paul Thomas Anderson won for Best Director and Screenplay, and Teyana Taylor unexpectedly won Best Supporting Actress.

One Battle After Another has seen great success during the 2026 awards season, but it’s now up against strong competition from Hamnet, featuring Jessie Buckley and Paul Mescal, which recently won Best Picture in the Drama category.

Buckley won a major acting award, receiving the prize for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama.

Thirty-six-year-old Irish actress secured victory against strong competition from well-known performers like Jennifer Lawrence, Renate Reinsve, Julia Roberts, Tessa Thompson, and Eva Victor.

The TV series Adolescence on Netflix was the big winner of the night, taking home top prizes in its categories. Sixteen-year-old Owen Cooper, the show’s star, made history as one of the youngest people ever to win a Golden Globe Award.

The young actor won an award for Best Supporting Actor in a TV series, limited series, or movie.
