The post-Return of the Jedi era has always been one of my favorite periods in Star Wars lore, full of intrigue, new characters, and unexpected twists.

Prior to San Diego Comic-Con 2024, Star Wars has shared new details about its upcoming comic series. Back in June, they hinted at the conclusion of the ongoing “Star Wars” and “Darth Vader” series in September. More recently, an intriguing sneak peek emerged: a shattered Darth Vader helmet from the upcoming sequel trilogy, suggesting that future stories will be set in that era.

Supporters of “Star Wars: Uprising,” the popular mobile game, were intrigued to discover that the cover art for “Star Wars: Battle of Jakku — Insurgency Rising #1” showcases a unexpected character from the game. The Governor Ubrik Adelhard character graces the cover, hinting at his potential involvement in the comic series as an antagonist.

As a longtime fan of Star Wars and avid collector of comic books, I couldn’t be more excited to share some thrilling news with fellow enthusiasts! Starting October 2, Star Wars: Battle of Jakku — Insurgency Rising #1 hits local comic book stores and digital platforms. I’ve had the privilege of following this captivating storyline since its inception, and trust me, it’s a rollercoaster ride you won’t want to miss!
