The Bachelor’s Zach Shallcross proposes to Kaity Biggar AGAIN on their second anniversary
As a lifestyle expert who has been following the romantic journeys of reality TV couples for over two decades, I must say that Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar’s love story is one for the books! Their second engagement, set against the picturesque backdrop of Lisbon, Portugal, exudes an undeniable charm.
Zach Shallcross got down on one knee and asked Kaity Biggar to marry him – again!
30-year-old ex-Bachelor proposed during the couple’s two-year anniversary trip in Lisbon, Portugal, taking advantage of their leisurely getaway to ask for their hand in marriage.
Biggar expressed gratitude by saying, ‘What a blessing it is for me to be able to say ‘yes’ to you not once, but twice’, accompanied by a series of pictures on social media, starting with a sweet moment of them snuggled up on a sailboat.
Shallcross reshared the post on his Instagram Stories, writing ‘I love you.’
The romantic proposal took place at just about sunset and included champagne and a new ring.
At the finale of season 27 of The Bachelor, Shallcross opted for Biggar as his wife-to-be and gifted her a stunning Neil Lane diamond engagement ring.
For his second big ask, the influencer chose a large emerald cut stone on a simple gold band.
As a wellness advocate, I couldn’t be happier for the couple on their engagement! Jesse James Palmer, former NFL star and Bachelor contestant, shared his excitement with an enthusiastic message: “YESSSSS ❤️❤️❤️8 more fingers to go,” he wrote.
Former Bachelorette contestant Dotun Olubeko had praise for the couple.
In a straightforward manner, Zachshallow claimed to be the most genuine person and challenged those who disagreed. He also wrote, addressing Kaitybiggar, that a heart twice as big should receive double the interactions or acknowledgments.
Charity Lawson, Olubeko’s fiancée and a previous Bachelorette, agreed with him by expressing, “I love you both so much 💕💕💕💕! In a couple of weeks, we’ll toast to you!
One supporter raised an inquiry regarding the necessity of another proposal. Essentially, they wondered, “Why propose again if one has already done so?
In January 2024, the pair decided to share a home together, with their original intention being to get married in 2025. However, according to a recent TikTok post by Biggar, these wedding plans have been temporarily put on ice.
Initially, I’d like to share some news about our wedding plans. We did secure a venue and all the necessary arrangements, but in the end, we decided not to officially confirm the contract.

Earlier this month, Biggar openly shared that they would be footing the bill for their upcoming wedding, and expressed her disbelief at the estimated $70,000 cost, stating emphatically, ” frankly, it’s unreasonable and simply won’t take place.
‘At this point Zach and I are just gonna reevaluate things, take a step back,’ she said.
It’s clear that we both wish to get married. What we’re looking for is a fantastic venue at an affordable cost, just like everyone else in our position.
Since we have a lifetime ahead of us, there’s no need to hurry things. Instead, we’re choosing to enjoy each day together, cherishing our time, and growing our bond day by day.
