As an ardent fan of reality TV, I can’t help but be captivated by the fascinating friendship between Matt Agnew and Khanh Ong. Their bond is so unique and heartwarming that it transcends the stereotypes and expectations society often imposes on male friendships.
Matt Agnew and his good friend Khanh Ong enjoyed an affectionate outing together on Friday night.
36-year-old contestant from The Bachelor and the 30-year-old MasterChef Australia star attended the world premiere of the Australian Ballet‘s Oscar in Melbourne.
The pals posed together on the red carpet, beaming for photos as they cuddled up close.
Matt cut a sharp figure in a stylish navy-blue suit, the top button left undone, paired with a crisp white shirt and polished patent leather dress shoes.
Apart from him, there was a beautiful brunette by his side, similarly appearing in photos next to her, both of them beaming with joy.
As a fashion-forward enthusiast, I sported a tailored blazer, accentuated by a crisp white cuff, beneath a pristine white dress shirt, and adorned with a stylish Prada neckpiece.
He added a pair of black shorts and white socks worn pulled up, as well as shiny leather shoes.
The chef carried a black designer envelop clutch and also had on a number of earrings.
It comes after the best friends were recently forced to deny they were in a relationship.
The pair share a close bond and believe the speculation stems from the stereotype that men ‘can’t show affection’.
They also urged others to be more affectionate with their friends.
Khanh, explained how they have been friends for years and provide each other with companionship.
‘The rumours are hilarious because he (Matt) is the straightest cis-gendered male and I am obviously gay. We are friends and we hang out,’ he told Daily Mail Australia last June.
We offer each other a sense of camaraderie, which I believe we both could use a little more.
In our gatherings, we discuss our professional lives and future plans, creating an environment free of criticism that I believe fosters a genuinely healthy connection.
‘I think the funniest thing is, is that I could be doing this with a girlfriend and no one could expect me to be dating them.’
Matt made an appearance on The Bachelor’s 2019 season on Channel 10, a popular dating program. In the end, he departed with Chelsie McLeod towards the setting sun.
After three months, the romance didn’t last, as he later admitted he was dating comedian Gen Fricker. Later on, he disclosed that he was actually single.
