Timm Hanly has undergone surgery after his septum completely collapsed. 

33-year-old celebrity from “The Bachelorette” posted an Instagram photo on Tuesday, revealing that his right nostril was fully blocked.

Although the exact cause of his nose collapse isn’t clear yet, there are various possibilities such as a deviated septum affecting the valve’s strength, fragile nasal cartilages due to structural issues, or a direct injury to the nose.

Timm had a septoplasty, which is a procedure used to correct the alignment of his nasal septum (the partition between the nostrils), with the aim of improving the shape of his nose.

On social media, the beloved contestant from Angie Kent’s dating show season shared a subsequent clip displaying his reshaped nose following surgery.

The video shows Timm spraying saline solution into his nose, which is often done following septoplasty procedures as a means of maintaining moisture in the nasal passages.

Captioning his post, ‘Perspective: First day after Septoplasty,’ he shared a photo of himself, bare-chested and emotional, enduring the challenging process of recovery.

In June 2024, the Australian celebrity became widely known online following a street-interview style TikTok video he did with American content producer Chris Stanley, during which they both participated in a gay pride procession.

Timm happened upon the festival together with his wife Briana De La Motte and their nine-month-old daughter Harper, leaving a memorable impact on the audience.

Timm, who is visiting from Australia, mentioned that it was their second day in the U.S., and they accidentally found themselves at the parade. He added that he was there to soak up the atmosphere.

He expressed his strong affection for it, saying, “We really, truly enjoy it,” before Chris posed the question: “Don’t you think the LGBTQ+ community knows how to throw an excellent party?

Timm promptly responded: ‘F**ken’ oath. One hundred per cent. No one does it better really.’

Chris then asked: ‘How does it feel if a gay guy is hitting on you?’

Timm stated, ‘This really appeals to me. Imagine I’m strolling along, and another man, who happens to be gay, gives me a glance – it feels just as flattering as a woman showing interest in me.’

‘That counts. That’s as good for my ego as a hot chick looking at me,’ he added.

A surge of new admirers from the U.S. flooded the video’s comment section, expressing their adoration for the attractive single father.

‘More men like him please,’ Chris wrote in the caption of the clip.

One individual commented: ‘He demonstrates strong, confident, and dignified masculinity.’, while another remarked about Timm as having an ‘overwhelming, impressive, and extended virility.’

‘Australians are so cool and friendly,’ a third added.

In the month of August, 2023, Timm and his wife Briana were blessed with the arrival of their baby girl, Harper. They shared this wonderful news along with a video of their newborn on Instagram.

For a period of six years, the pair had an on-again, off-again relationship. In the year 2019, during Angie Kent’s season of The Bachelorette, he appeared as a contestant and ended up finishing second to Carlin Sterritt.

In the year 2020, he continued to make appearances on Bachelor in Paradise, developing a romantic connection with Brittany Hockley during their stay in Fiji.

Together, the duo departed from the program following only a handful of episodes, yet they parted ways shortly after their return to Australia.

After the final episode of Bachelor in Paradise was broadcasted on television, it was made known that Timm and Briana had revived their relationship and announced it to the public.
