The Bachelor stars Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich reveal why they are moving out of their luxury Queensland home after just four months

Tim Robards and Anna Heinrich recently decided to leave their upscale apartment on the Gold Coast, only four months after they initially moved there.

The couple, who became well-known on The Bachelor in 2013, purchased the three-bedroom, three-bathroom house in 2021 for $2.5 million. They shared their decision to move with Daily Mail at the Derby Day event.

I was really listening to Tim, and he admitted they are selling. He said they’re considering a few different paths – staying put, or moving back to Sydney. He wasn’t making any firm commitments, just saying they’re figuring things out as they go.

‘It’s been hard living there with lack of family around and we got a lot of work back in Sydney.’

However, Tim remained tight-lipped when asked if they would be permanently relocating to Sydney.

‘We are happy to go to Sydney for a little bit, but we will see what happens,’ Tim said.

The celebrity couple’s apartment is in the luxurious Mondrian complex in Burleigh Heads. The sleek, modern home offers VIP perks like a gym, spa, and valet parking.

The listing doesn’t state a price, but the sellers are expected to make a significant profit when the property is auctioned.

The Courier Mail reports that an offer of around $3 million was rejected for the property, following a recent resale in the Mondrian building for $7.1 million. This suggests the owners are hoping for a higher price.

This spacious, open-plan apartment on the fourth floor of the Mondrian building measures 183 square metres. It includes a covered patio with views of the building’s pool and entertainment area.

Highlights include an expansive dining and living space overlooking beautiful Burleigh Beach.

There’s also a butler’s pantry and main bedroom with a lavish en suite and walk-in wardrobe.

All residents can enjoy convenient services like room service, housekeeping, and a personal chauffeur, available for rides to the airport and other destinations.

The Mondrian also boasts a ‘yoga garden’ and steam room.

Following their exclusive announcement to the Daily Mail in June, Anna and Tim are leaving their $6 million Sydney home to relocate to the Gold Coast.

Elle, four, and Ruby, one, are the daughters of a couple who found love on The Bachelor in 2013. They got married in 2018 and recently moved from Sydney.

Anna mentioned they were going to the Gold Coast and that they owned a property there called the Mondrian, which is part of a chain of hotels located internationally.

We purchased a property in the area about four years ago, and the purchase is finally complete. We’re now planning to move there.

We decided we needed a change of scenery, and we’re not sure how long we’ll be away. We’re still keeping our home in Sydney, though.

We’ll be communicating frequently about work, but we also wanted to escape Sydney’s winter for a short break.

It’s just… unbelievable! My business partner actually lives up there, can you believe it? I’ve literally never lived abroad, not even for a little while. And honestly, our family? We’ve never done anything remotely like this – not a single one of us has ever even considered moving overseas before! It’s a total dream come true, and I’m completely obsessed with the idea!
